If it adds to nine everything is fine, Numbers with 4 letter are zero+four+five=nine Numbers A symmetrical are 0+1+8 = 9 Add All digits from 0-9 you get 45 4+5=9 Seconds in a 12hours =42300 those add to 9 Keep up the great work
It's about the MINDSET not CAPABILITIES. Kids are becoming more lazier every day in this generation, wtf do you expect in the future? Intelligence is becoming more rare and valuable every day...
i was able to watch here in YT when you talked about calculating dates with JIM kwik. You gave different value for month of JUne and it is 3. Also, I've listed all the values of the 12 months. Does value of months vary? It's giving me a wrong answer...
The anything times 9 she the digits are added equals nine I found out in fourth grade. I told my teacher and she was like I guess it does work but she said it was to confusing for the other kids. I was so happy I figured something like that out just to be disappointed that no one really understund
34:57 how can you find the value for months? If June has a value of 4, how do you find the other values? Some of the other comments I read said that the formula he used was only for the years 1900-1999. So what are the value of months for each different time segments. (Ex: 1800-1899)
First of all, your awesome! I have a question about why my math is getting the day, I was born on, wrong. U mentioned something about leap year, but I don't know how to count for that.
The 13-month calendar _seems_ like a logical solution, however it’s neglecting the reason why we have days, months, and years. And they’re not really related to each other. A day is how long it takes the earth to spin on its axis. A month is how long it takes the moon to orbit the earth. A year is how long it takes the earth to orbit the sun. So while they’re all astronomical periods of time, there’s no reason they should fit neatly into each other. The earth spins on its axis about 365.25 times in the time it takes to orbit the sun. That’s handy, since we can say 1 “year” is 365 “days”, but every 4th year we just need to compensate for the remainder by adding a leap day. Months are the same way, we adjust February to make the moon’s orbits better line up with earth’s orbit and rotations.
Based on equation stated . Calculating day of the week for 5-30-1970 doesn’t calculate. Can someone please walk me through it😊😊 my understanding is that you 70+17+30+5 which equals 122. Then divide 122 by 7. The remainder is your day of the week from zero being Sunday, to 6 being Saturday. Which equals 17r 3. 3 equals Wednesday. I thought so, at least…😅
What a guy...impressive mind...if this video can only enhance my Area 44 and move some of the capabilities to another part of an inactive area in my brain...then I'm WATCHING! lol.
First of All it's a Really a Nice Video but I would like to draw your attention to this (Time 35.35 ) You said Date 12/02/1995 means that's a Saturday but I googled it and it's showing Sunday on that date.
All i wanted is to learn the mind math but nobody noticed that he is just selling his calender.. throughout his video he never shares how he did it... And all these tricks are just vedic maths... I knew few of them since my childhood but there are to many and u can't remember them all... That's why it fails...😢 I am afraid i have to continue my search..
The theory of “everything goes back to 9” is cool. But to teach that to kids they still have to learn basic 1 & 2 digits addition. And be good at simple subtraction. For example; if a kid still just learning subtraction they might struggle. (11-2=8) or (11-2=10). To check if you answers goes back to 9 kids still need to learn basic arithmetic. Of course this would apply to very young kids. The above method wouldn’t benefit kids still learning basic math. As Scott suggest teaching them first. That too confusing at age 4,5,6 But instead teach them this skill either same time as they’re learning subtraction or soon after.
Not a superhuman brain. He knows particular tricks and techniques to solve specific math problems. Scott actually uses Trachtenberg and Vedic Mathematics techniques. Scott was also in the 2004 Mental Calculation World Cup, where they had to write down the answer and he came in last in the group for speed and accuracy.
@@alanguages I’m pretty sure he does have a superhuman brain but also combined with these techniques. Even with the best techniques, a normal human cannot reach calculator speed.
@@unspecifiedunit9126 No Flansburg does not have a superhuman brain. Like I wrote, he came in LAST in 2004 for both SPEED and ACCURACY in the GROUP. He competed against other people in that contest. There is a reason why Scott does not do competition, as evidence of his terrible performance. If you read Scott's book, he effectively just used the techniques from Vedic Math and the Trachtenberg method, without citing, nor mentioning them. A child with about 5 years learning the mental abacus is above Scott for speed and accuracy in arithmetic. If Scott truly believed himself to be such a gifted individual with a Superhuman brain he would be a world math competitor champion year, after year. Which he did not even win once and did not compete since. If someone says, Scott is an auditory mental calculator, then he can still compete in the math contests with speed oral dictation. Which he still has NOT ever done . Keep in mind, I am not taking away his ability, or his promotion of math. He just isn't what he is marketed to be.
@@ultimatejoshua1082 Vedic and Trachtenberg math techniques. Practice that and a person would become really fast. Like I stated Flansburg has not competed since placing last in 2004. There are other people who are faster who compete, but they aren't marketed showman.
42:06 So I can make proper change using that mental math skill from $1, $10, and $100, but I'm not sure that's all that useful of a skill with that much of a restriction...
