How do you think the twins got to know they are adopted ? A. Slipped with a Chandler’s joke. B. Joey told them innocently. C. Mondler told them the truth right away.
Honestly but this was the most logical ending to the show, that no matter how good of friends you are or how long you've been together, times change. People change. You've got to move forward because that's the way you grow.

They didn't take it this bad when Chandler and Monica were moving to Tulsa. My God It's another city, they can go there and hang out......at least on the weekends. And my other thing is, I think Ross and Rachael should've moved into the apt.
Don't think it's a good idea. With all the memories ,living in this appartement would have been too difficult. When i imagine the future off Ross/Rachel , for they leave New York also, To move at Scardale like Ross had said in season 2. Phoebe and Mike stays at New York.
They did freaked out when they told them about Tulsa, but i guess it wasn't the same because that was going to be for 2 years and this was forever. And it was their choice, Mon and Chandler, not chandler's boss.

Like how Monica and Chandler kept life decisions separate from friends. Many face problem in taking decisions about choosing what one wants that is in conflict with what their loved ones want. Though it would have been cooler for them to tell them earlier and not get caught, would've been easier for rest 4. BTW, in comparison, this tiny city apartment with 2 rooms, 1 bath stands absolutely nowhere in comparison to large house with staircase, lawn and a swing by the stream!! Good they moved out, 6+ Monica's 2 + Ross's 2 is a mad crowd for this tiny apartment.
@B i think they didn't support her because of how paranoid she was getting. i mean one look and you know how possessive/cautious she would have become of ross starting fights everytime ross was late for whatever reason and doubting it was another women and making his life miserable. nobody wants something like that for their friends .
Ross tried to discuss his affairs about Emily with friends and look what happened. Monica was the only one who acted like a sane person at that time despite having a bias towards Ross and Rachel and told them to stay away and deal with things. Rest of them unilaterally told Ross how Emily is despicable.
I absolutely loved Chandler and Joeys friendship. They are seriously brothers, in fact some brothers aren’t even as close as them. Chandler was like the older brother who looked out for his little brother and Joey loved him dearly (having all sisters and no brother of his own). 😭
I'm with Monica and Chandler. I was raised in a beautiful little small town and now that I'm in a world class city. I don't want to raise my child here. I want to give them what I had as a child. Love of the whole town, Freedom and nature.
Really makes you see how much Chandler and Monica grew as a couple, became much more mature adults, and thought about the future and their family instead of themselves and their own selfish wants. And the others... didn't.
Lol why? Cuz the others didn't move? Cuz they were upset? Or cuz Chandler and Monica didn't consider their friends/current family when making a momentous decision? It's actually going to be much harder to take care of that huge house with newborns.

This is another example. It’s painful if you consider yourself one of the gang, because you realize you’re thinking in terms of “all of us,” and they’re thinking in terms of “us two.”
“Why wouldn’t you want to raise a child in the city” I think the question is why would you. One thing I hate about friends is how the writers made the characters so childish.
It always reminds me that in life, sometimes we have to move on... but that doesn't mean we will be forever gone from our loved ones. This scene reminds me of my time in uni when I was living with my friends in this house 7 yrs) but slowly, everyone moved out to continue their lives.Even I did...we are still friends now but yeah, not as close as when we were that time. However, they still haven't left me, and we can still call or visit each other to talk about our problems etc.
@@randocommando6355 not when it comes to this. In this situation the friends were being manipulative. Chandler and Monica wanted to do what was best for them and their family while still remaining close to the friends, and they tried to make them feel like crap about it
This was a very important lesson for everyone. Life can change. It doesn’t matter if you are with good people, or have had a bad school. Change happens. It can happen to anyone.
I've never really understood the problem here. It can't be that far away?? is this a geographical thing only new yorkers understand? because I don't get why they are acting like they won't see them anymore.
Their reactions were realistic, they've all been hanging out with each other for so long and to find out their friends are moving it's gonna be a shock to them.
You can't be in one place & with same people your entire life. You grow up. Each stage brings you new company and environment. Home, then school, then moving out on own & college, then wherever job takes you, then getting married, on having kids you'd want to be stable for years so resettle again, then the kids grow up & go out and you wanna spend your life in peace coz half your life has gone by!!!!

And soon I'll have a job away from home and won't be able to see my sweet parents too often 😢. They don't say anything, but sometimes when Maa is at her low she confesses that she regrets educating her daughter this much. Otherwise I could have been with her. She always told me I'd make a good doc and now my heart is in it. And I know it will take me away from my loved ones. That bothers me.

And now reading this after months..hope you might have cleared your exams. Yes, getting separated hurts but finding new good people is always like a remedy. 2:42 Right there is the perfect justification for, if and when they do a "Friends" reboot, have Ross and Rachel move in next door to Monica and Chandler. Also have Phoebe and Mike move on the other side. Also, Monica and Chandler's house has a "Joey room", so there. The whole gang back together, just in a different occasion.
They eventually accepted Mondler to build a life outside the city. But they couldn't let Ross fix his marriage with Emily by staying away for a while. They're kinda selfish to Emily.
I think its because they are most mature to this point. Emily was also a obstacule to the Rachel and Ross dynamic, that was on the writters, but also since the moment Ross said "Rachel" in the altar that marriage was done, cause how things turned (rachel and ross having emma) Emily HAVE ALL THE REASONS TO DONT TRUST IN rachel and ross friendship.
I agree . You can stay away and still be friends. Meet up in vacations with family and on several occasions ... It is not that bad . But Mondler was ready for it . Ross was not that ready . Plus , Emily had this thought about trusting Ross is a bad idea ...and she was right .
Actually everything changed the moment chandler and monika decided to live together.. thats where the real "friends" ended..after that they all started thinking about life and marriage and kids .. we also dint get to see more chandler and joey moments.. It was really the end of an era.

They started thinking about serious stuff like marriage and kids... before that they used to have so much fun.. I dont know but in season 7 when chandler moves in with monica it was really the end of an era for them.
Ridiculous. The show evolved and thank god otherwise 30 years old acting like 20 years old is just pathetic and sad. And thank god for Chandler's character because he evolved while Joey regressed. The show isn't about joey and chandler only

Shantanu Mishra I agree that this was the end of an era. After they get married, Chandler and Monica don't have any exciting storylines. But that only happens with the two of them. On the other hand, from that Season onwards we have the other characters of Friends with great storylines. For example, Ross becomes more and more hilarious. Also, Joey, even without Chandler, has very funny storylines.
I understand that they all love Monica and Chandler, but they really have no right to be so unsupportive. Ross’ claim that this is “something they need to get out of their system before realizing the truth that we already know” is especially unreasonable. Only Monica and Chandler get to decide where they will raise their family. It’s quite rude, selfish, and disloyal of everyone to only focus on their own sadness with no acknowledgment that the two of them are doing what’s best for them. Of course they’re allowed to be sad, but they take it way too far. They’re practically gaslighting these two into feeling bad for making their own beneficial major life decision that is their business and theirs only.
I though I was the only one who though the friends were super rude and selfish on this occasion. I don't find this episode heartwarming at all, it's just like the late thanksgiving one to me
The thing is if you're there. You're there. And nothing any body says will make you stop thinking abt the next step. So i totally understand. I moved frm my old place after 19 years of living there but I dont miss that place much at all. I had my childhood there and everything. I just moved on
The first time I watched it, I thought they were exagerating a lot because that's outside the city not on another country. That HIMYM about the group being codependant, fits them too. That being said, I 100% can't relate lmao The City it is.
I know everything must end someday, but I wish the ending was all of them still living happily in New York and being as close as they always had been during the show. Ross, Rachel and Emma, Phoebe and Mike, Monica, Chandler and new babies and Joey next door.
If this were real.... they would all be cut off. NONE of your friends being supportive about you buying a beautiful home, in a beautiful area, for your family? Dump those friends, if it were real of course lol
I always feel Chandler after moving in with Monica has changed a lot. He's no more best friend of Joey. Poor guy didn't get married, left alone by friends, especially by his best friend

They are selfish. I mean at least it was more obvious towards the final season. The one where Monica always had to host holidays (of course she loved to host) but the 1st & final season thanksgiving episode, it clearly showing they are taking Monica for granted. When Chandler & Monica supposed to move to Tulsa, the other gangs were clearly upset because they don't wanna lose Monica except for Joey. The whole dynamics of Friends is that they are co-dependent on each other but it's always Monica who holds them together. So no Monica, so they might not hang out with each other regularly like they used to for one... I do think that as Monica & Chandler are going to be parents, they might need bigger affordable place for their extending family. Cities are great for singles/couples with no kids/rich peoples but not for not so rich folks who wanted to raise kids because of the higher cost of living. The others were clearly upset because they love their friends & don't want to lose them but it doesn't give anyone a freeway to stop your friends from building their own future especially married or with kids or both. It doesn't make sense...
Lets see...... Raise kids in New York City which is one of the most costly, violent and rude cities in the country. Oooor...... Mive the hell out and live in the nice quiet suburbs......... Wow this is a really tough choice. Can I think on it for a few seconds?
