It’s crazy how no one cares about their friends neglecting their children, until they are no longer friends. Then all of a sudden, they want to become compassionate saviors. 🙄

Imagine owing someone money, and having the nerve to have an attitude cause they want their money back.

Instead of all that trash talk, I think what the defendant meant to say was: "Thank you so much for coming through for me when I needed it and I'm so sorry I've taken so long to pay you back."
