You dont get it , the writers specifically wrote her to be that way . No doubt there are a lot of ppl dislike her char but the fact is Jenn went on to become the sweetheart of USA . The icon of spoiled little princess thrown into reality . Yet Jenn took the role with her precious charming quality where everyone was so focused on her and her relationship with Ross . If it was anyone else Rachel (referring to the char not the actress) , would have became the b*tch of the century . The show writers have Jenn to thank for , they even said it in the Friends Reunion show .

@@MsNellyuan thanks for the information. Yes I referred to Rachel, not Jenn who could reach star level with her potential. I would not be a close friend (as close as the series) with this Rachel but ppl love the show, they love all of 6. To me, Joey, Chandler, Phoebe are good friends to spend your valuable time with. They think for others, not only themselves.

@@jlammetje I don't know what kind of doors there are in America but in European countries you have doors which you can set to stay unlocked when closed or lock automatically when closed.... If set to automatic you can leave and close the door behind you and it will lock itself but you'll need a key to unlock it...

@@squeakybunny2776 I live in Europe, but I've never heard of a door which you can set to lock automatically. The ones I know of either do, or they don't, it's not configurable. It's still weird how their door is seemingly never locked, but they needed it for the scene of course.

Then they do it again to Monica 10 years later. Phoebe, Rachel, Ross and Joey force her to make Thanksgiving dinner when she didn't want to do it, then the girls go to a baby beauty pageant (luckily Emma won 1st prize and $1000, though it's still grotesque) and forget the one little thing Monica asked them to do and to pick up the dessert, the boys go to a Rangers game knowing it would make them late and they all turn up over an hour late, and waste most of that time in the hall outside trying to come up with an excuse that doesn't make them look like selfish friends. And at Phoebe's birthday dinner everyone (except Joey) is late because Ross and Rachel are locked out of the apartment with Emma inside, Monica and Chandler are having a fight about smoking and trying to make a baby, none of them have the courtesy to call the birthday girl to tell her why they're running late, and when they do finally arrive they bring their fight and their baby with them to the restaurant, Monica has the nerve to ask why Phoebe didn't get a bigger table and Rachel is too distracted fussing over Emma that she ruins Phoebe's birthday toast, until Phoebe, quite rightly, loses her temper with all of them and, even more rightly, ditches them to be with her boyfriend Mike. Does anyone remember other events important to [insert name] that the rest of the friends ruin?
