I really like how Monica got funnier ad funnier as the series develops. In the first two seasons she seemed to take herself too seriously, but then, from the 3rd season on, she got so funny
I’m a Taiwanese trying to learn some English through this Friends English teaching video, then I found out it was a big mistake when I see the word “Ichiban”…
In old Latin, Gleba means dirt/ground, it's associated with Servo della Gleba...which roughtly translates as Serf, the dirt/ground part comes from how they were borrowing their lord's territories to work on plantations and they could keep part of what they made to feed themselves. From wikipedia: Serfs who occupied a plot of land were required to work for the lord of the manor who owned that land. In return, they were entitled to protection, justice, and the right to cultivate certain fields within the manor to maintain their own subsistence. Serfs were often required not only to work on the lord's fields, but also in his mines and forests and to labour to maintain roads.

@@grandshowbar2398 Friends is great but watch The Office, it's THE best show! I In 50 years people won't get some things from Friends but they will from the Office. It's timeless.
