- Appears for like, 15 minutes at best. - Somehow, manages to steal everyone's hearts. - refuse to elaborate. - FUCKING DIES Himmel, ladies and gentlemen
Yea, the meaning was similar, but the words were different. For instance when they are partying Freirens line should have "a mere 10 year adventure" which is pretty important bc that's a reaccuring line. Also liking magic "moderately" should have been "somewhat" which is another reacuring line iirc
Off? They are correct subs just different words. These are done with a literal meaning. You all really need to remember that crunchyroll isn't the only place doing subs. And that also, they mess up all the goddamn time.
Get ready for a master class in story telling. There are so many things about this show that are very subtle that if you dig for them they enrich the story even further. One of which is every character's name means something in German and are mostly concepts. Frieren means cold/frigid, Himmel means sky/heaven, Heiter means bright/cheerful, and Eisen means iron/steely.
I hope you enjoy this anime, it is great! The first episode of this anime was originally planned to be released as a 90 minute movie but was instead changed into 4 episodes released on the same day. To get the full sense of the anime you should watch the first 4 episodes before deciding if you want to continue. That being said I believe you will like it enough to continue the series
Hands down, one of the best anime series of the last several years. My two new favorites have been this and The Apothecary Diaries. I've gotten absolutely sick of esekai stories. For every somewhat new and worth watching show, there's a dozen esekai with rehashed tropes of the last 20-30 years.
best anime show i ever watched... next to ghost in the shell stand alone complex. enjoy.. p.s. your watching the bad sub version.. other once, like the fan sub are better
almost nobody clocks that Frieren visits the same merchant during the time skip. also, def find another source for next episodes; the captions were off / dumbed down.
