I'm testing this method right now. I set a -25 on the offset and set the oven to 170F. It heated to 170F and is now 150F and dropping. Perfect for resting a brisket overnight. Thanks!

You only need to do this if your oven temperature isn’t getting hot enough or is too hot. These stoves can only be adjusted usually 35 degrees so if your oven is off by more than 35 degrees you would have to replace the EOC board.

Hello, I’ve tried following your instructions but it won’t go back to the 0 factory setting. Could it be because I used the oven before calibrating it? Im having to bake at temperatures of 400 or above for things I’d usually bake at about 350/360. Any suggestions?
You need to calibrate the oven to 10 or 15 When the oven is set to 350 it will rise to 360-365 and drop back down to 345-350 and repeat thus being a bit more accurate with temperature performance.
