I'm testing this method right now. I set a -25 on the offset and set the oven to 170F. It heated to 170F and is now 150F and dropping. Perfect for resting a brisket overnight. Thanks!
Hello, I’ve tried following your instructions but it won’t go back to the 0 factory setting. Could it be because I used the oven before calibrating it? Im having to bake at temperatures of 400 or above for things I’d usually bake at about 350/360. Any suggestions?
We have done the moving the fan like that and we have steamed it do thaw the ice, but it keeps happening every few days. I'm over it and need a permanent fix. What does the kit do? Will it prevent the freezing from happening again? How do I make sure it isn't the defrost heater that failed?
I figured this was a warranty repair considering all the new parts but in the end the customer got a new working machine and You made money too. Good video.
It's nice when you have all new parts and can just cut stuff apart. What happens when you need to save all that stuff!? I'm sure it's not cheap. 3 jaw puller?
@@stromxtc2033 i have them same exact sound, still making ice. You can put a piece of tape over the hole for the sensor which tells if bucket is full to stop ice from being made. gets the sound to stop atleast
Pulled the ice maker out thanks to the instruction. Took cover off and exposed the plastic gears and found that the pin that holds one of the gears was backed out causing the gears to be wobbly. Pushed the pin back in and it's tight. Turned the water back on. I was sure I was going to produce ice but 24 hrs later, NO ICE. At least, I did find one problem.
Thanks for this excellent video! I've got the same exact situation, agitator stuck and I can't get to the clutch to replace it. You said some other guys on a forum had a great idea to get that agitator off, could you please share it? If I have to replace the tub and agitator, might as well buy a used unit.
