Oh my word!! I live in the USA and haven't heard of foamiran! I must find it and learn to make these gorgeous flowers. I've subscribed to your channel and can't wait to learn more. 💟
Your flowers are sooooo beautiful! I have some foamiran but haven’t gotten up the nerve to try it yet. Soon. Lol. Thank you for sharing your wonderful technique.
Hi Bev. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I am a flower maker with card/paper but only the last couple of weeks bought some foamiran to have a go with. Can you please let me know if there is a time or how the petals feel to know when you have scrunched and pulled and twisted them enough. Thanks again I am now going to watch another videos you have done. Hugs xx Wendy
HI Margaret, not really - it's all by feel. I've filmed in real time so you should be able to get an idea of how long I work the petals. Sorry I can't be of more help but it really just boils down to practice till you're happy with the petals.
Thanks. stretching without tearing doesn't take long to perfect. I think I ripped a fair few when I first started. I just a whole bunch of petals and just practised till I could stretch and mould without tearing
Hi Bev - Debbie Baez here. Thanks for sharing and doing this video. So pretty! I've never worked with this product so very excited to work with Foamiran! Your finished card is beautiful. Nice job! I know the iron is set on medium heat. Is this with or without steam? Thanks again!
Hi Bev, can you please tell me what you have used for your decoration, the stuff that's looped, looks like some sort of wooden product. Beautiful card. X
Hi, I stumbled upon this technique whilst browsing. How very beautiful and intriguing. What is "Foamiran"? Have never heard of it. Your tutorial is beautifully presented and easy to understand. AussieKrys
I use the middle setting (2) on my iron, just hold it on there till you see the foam changing shape/shrinking a little. Try it out on some scraps to test, if you leave it on the iron too long it will make the foam really tough to try and mould and shape.
