I didn't know that Pa Dutch was so close to German. I love it. I can understand it perfectly. I wish to listen to more of this beautiful language. Is it a language? A dialect? Have a great fresh day over there. Big hi from Munich

It is a language. We have our own literature and poetry as well! The majority of our language has roots in Pfälzisch.

I am sure it does! 😀 Fritsche is a short form of the German name Friedrich (engl. Frederick). It's uncommon nowadays but it used to be Popular until the 19th century. Friedrich is Old-High-German (500 - 1000 AC) means Lord of Peace.
