there's enough deluded Americans about, saying UK grime isn't any good,.. I'm sorry but I've been listening to grime and uk underground since I was little, would love to see lil wayne or jay z try going at p money or ghetts,US are arrogant to fuck, don't realise that the uk that its own level, that most of the American rappers can't even elevate to,before they call me a 'hater' I love American music, but the uk is so much more solid, would take a grime tune over American rap anyday, most UK rappers would body American ones.
I Argree with and I'm from the us I listen to grime because music over is garbage it's crazy how you guys have sets and the artist can mc for hours I bet nobody can do that here my people are ignorant but all I do blast big h and jme down my streets long live grime down with fake mainstream rap I hope this show that there is love for the uk I support grime till the day I die
Compare the greatest UK rappers to Americas Greatest. Not saying that grime is bad, but i dont think its really comes close. So many great rappers come from america and dominate with consistancy compared to UK rappers. To say US rappers cant elevate to a level they've surpassed is just hater mentality. But i support grime and maybe there will be a time where it can be compared to American hiphop
I'm from south, but whether you're North, South, East or West, this vid makes me proud to be a Londoner. Especially seeing as the crime round here has calmed down alot, everyones just livin life now! Big up Chip n Frisco
We are all so hard here, that's why we managed to get a whole 2 streets to stand around posing for a camera trying to look hard with the child who made the oopsie daisy song.
Westy Boy postcode ting is not raging on, ive never seen 'racial gang wars' gun crime is not going high.. Where are you even getting this from, you can look at the statistics of gun crime in east london. It's not that deep
Mohammed Ahmed It's not that bad. I have friends from South Kilburn, Kensal Green, Stonebridge, Harlesden, Church Road, St Raphs etc as my school's in Harlesden. There's just a few gangs but the majority don't start trouble at all.
hackney is not hard anymore, it has changed sooo much from when i was a kid, i saw on the news, that is was now in the top 20 places to live in the UK, can you believe that
TheSnipersCreed Believe that, I used to live in Hackney, in the oldschool London Fields estate with Margs's youngers and them. Mate you wont believe how much its change since the postcode war shit. Miss that place since I was a kid.
TheSnipersCreed lool come to hackney, the only difference is they have put some nice buildings up, there doing this to get people to move here, but i can tell you nothing has changed if anything its got worse, the reason people thinksits nice is cos you dont see alot of gangs rolling around...guess what, there still about there just moving lowkey because its propa mad right now, loads of stabbings and shootings, didnt you hear bout the 15 year old girl that got shot in the chest 2 weeks ago? its mad here, just lowkey
My people are leaving gay soft rap I got into grime a year ago and stopped listing to rap I know more about grime than I'm supposed to I listen to 2001 to 2014 in that time
Anyone thinking that U.K grime is a spinoff from American hood rap and that Hip-Hop shit should get a kick in the fucking face. Grime is it's on damn genre and (yes) is taking inspiration from American rap but it ain't no copy. Get your facts straight.
Init, people see hood music and assume that it's just hip hop abroad, but no one would ever call Dancehall Jamaican Hip Hop, it's its own genre with its own history and inflences, just like grime is, it's not UK Hip Hop, that's a whole different genre
Remember listening to this banger in 2015 under one of the small pears on the thames smoking a j with all my guys. I was 16 at the time. Man time flies, stay safe my kings in these shitty times
