Kano was already a legend but he is even more of one for this tune and the video. In the video he’s sending the message that life is all about family and friends, linking up cooking together vibes-in positively together spending quality time together. Looking after your family properly especially your kids is what’s really gangster. ❤️✊🏾🙏🏾
Made in the manor was just track after track of feels and nostalgia, i mean i wasn't a black youth growing up in england, but those feels aren't far removed from everyones time coming up through the UK.
Even if I'm Muslim, I can at least show respect for Kano's mum for being nice and religious while her son and Popcaan sing about cars and brothers getting along (with some swearing). She really has a strong heart for her family.
I'm American and bang UK hip hop HEAVY. Not going to lie that I didn't know who Kano, Scorcher and a lot of other artists were until I watched Top Boy. But I am SO glad I know who they are now. Better late than never!!
Omg same!!I didn’t even know of these guys till I watched top boy..Kano...Dave didn’t even know any of them till I watched top boy 🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️I know horrible but their shit slapzzz!
Kano has always had his head screwed on straight though, he's never been a hype yout. He's always been the man that was needed. Never spits nasty hate just positive grindset.
Honestly makes me smile so much when I see successful black men come together and break bread. I don't care for the stereotypes, this is beautiful to see!
@@WhiteDawn. yeah that's cool. I didn't say you have to be black to appreciate it. The point I'm making is, black men are extremely negatively stereotyped and as a black man, it particularly delights me, when I see fellow black men disproving that stereotype. That's all
Tee Mill yeah but these man are olders. The youngers won’t be doing this in ten years time. Grime you kill an artist with lyrics. Drill you literally kill a man.
@@TheYBGOON I'm really not looking at it that deeply. I take your point but whatever the age, I'm just celebrating successful black males coming together. Regardless if they're 15, 25 or 35.
One of my favourite music videos, the vibe of friends having a cook up and some drinks is so far away from the usual lies we see in hip hop videos. Kano is a legend in the UK and deserves more recognition.
Rip 2 all the younger's who lost their lives, because, of knives, crime onces again RIP. 2 all the soldiers. And 2 the young boy's Reading this do not carry knives at all.
When I hear Kano I think about what Britain really is. This guy send a feeling with his vibe that embodies real. Just pure real everyday energy. He is heritage.
This is a beautiful collaboration of Jamaica and Jamaican descendants fusing the link and shared values that bond us together ni the most purest form ...celebrating the African diaspora in all its many nuances and paying homage to the importance of the 4 F's Family Friendship Food & Fellowship ...This a moment of unity and creativity blending seamlessly ...the cultural celebration being explored in this visual narrative is so common yet so unique within the art form of music...Inclusivity is everything sharing platforms and gifts is enriching both cultural exchanges on all sides of the pond...a poignant reminder that we are all family and we are so much stronger if collaberation becomes the norm by which we operate...the take away from this artistic piece of genuine genius is that when we come together in positivity nothing can prevent goals from being accomplished and nothing can deny accolades from filling the cabinet and the mantle piece....simply award winning creativity right here !!!!!! Congratulations this generation are flinging the baton out the stadium...Winners !!!!!!!
@@MegaDiva1999facts I met this brudda in jail from Sheffield went to a bbq when we was all out never seen nothing it like proper family affair at least 30 people their vibing in Scotland aswell proper belter day ❤
Such a refreshing video to see. Imagine having the biggest artists come together and instead of showing off money they show off the real riches. This is life, it's not perfect but it's all we got.
When you see love like this amongst the man dem you wish the same love amongst the yout dem... bun the fuckery and knife crime! I just want my people to elevate! We’re looked down upon and are at the bottom of the social class! Let it be true and let’s all say still we rise!
Jude, there is a reason why; these brothers 'made it'. Not only are they deemed a success, they are successful from an art form they pursued, and from a genre they started/pioneered. Second to that, most of their peers are also doing well. So, it breeds a different kind of mentality, when those around you are equally as successful. This statement rings true; If you want to see a Man degrade himself, and those around him, put him in an environment in which he feels ostracised, hopeless and at odds against everything - including himself. Now, I'm not saying we can't rise, but to compare the mindstate of Kano, Ghetts, Giggs, Lethal, to the mindset of the inner city kids in London, it just isn't the same, nor is it fair. Those individuals, their friends and their families, are still facing very real challenges, every single day. I personally think it's up to these successful brothers - and those like them - to now create opportunities, and platforms for those that are still left in the circumstances, that they themselves have come from. A proverb that I think summarises the difference in mentality is: "It's hard to see the sky, when you are buried in the dirt."
As a white man all i can say is i dont look down at anyone. I dont care about skin colour, its whats in your heart that matters. Its the government / elite that promote negative propaganda upon the people and im not buying it. Also the younger generation need to stop buying into it and making negative music, influencing other youths to talk murder, gang life etc. Theres good and bad in all races and religions. Its a shame we cant all live in harmony. Hopefully one day 🤞
@@leehughes5733 Thanks, man. I'm keen on this kind of subject matter, and I'm equally as proud to see these guys go well beyond their own expectations and become successful and financially stable.
As a white man growing up with my best friend and his Jamaican family I can attest to the love and respect and freedom you feel at a family gathering be it a bday or a funeral the vibes the same, got shivers watching this reminds me of my youth and the love ❤ I was shown in their culture, my mates mum was exactly the same as Kanes nah mess wid herrrrrrrr 😂
This is a powerfull song but even more a brilliant way to show how important family is. Many men think money gal cars. But bumba aunties uncles brothers nephew's niece's are more important plus more than money could give us. All gang bangers trappers hit men realise this when to late. Family ting biggest tune going for real lyrics. Kano and popcann. Never a dull time with these two 👏
I absolutely love that this video shares important parts of our culture that many take for granted- the food, the drinks, the support of the community in good and bad times- absolutely awesome. Thank you Kano!!!
Different class....... Kano been on a Lane of his own on his jack Jones.... None of this disrespectful booty shakin and opps talk real G unity love and honour.. Real king🎓 ✊✊
"we were raised on the real dons, not all these rassclart lil' suttins" Big up Kano, Popcaan and the rest of the legends of the industry. My g getting his hands dirty washing and prepping the fish........
@@linwu8701 I wasn’t implying that the watch wasn’t waterproof. I was implying about it getting bashed around. I would hope that a Patek Phillipe “Aquanaut” is waterproof 👍
Watched this video like 2 days ago& have watched& listened to it like 50 times afterwards. This song gladdens my heart & the video is uplifting. Outstanding performances from Kano & Popcaan. Loved the prayers too
This is straight up the sickest video, the edit, the mixed media, Kano's mum being ah G ...refreshing to see genuine vibes instead of roadman tings in all videos. Kano, Bless. King amongst Men
Black women are beautiful I do t under stand why Jamaican yout bleach they skin social media and photoshopped images fucking people heads up bet if you see Kim kardashian etc in real life them gyal got blemishes like the rest of us be proud of who you are
@Ray Mysterio you'll find that many black or mixed race male artist more often than not have non darkskinned girls in their videos, ok this video was in his yard etc etc all I'm saying is is he celebrates the dark skinned black female and has done so consistently especially in his lyrics. Mate if you have never kissed a black girl then that's calm, your preference is your preference as to who u date, lay with. Nobody is disputing this
The spiritual energies tell you everyone from the older family members down to the liccle yute der enjoyed every second of this 👌🏁🏁🏁 black is beautiful black is excellent 🤝
Love how kano keeps it real, that's eveey black table for dinner, family's always welcome. If ur from Jamaica or Africa, we are family cuz of our roots, that's family
Artemis Goddess Of Hunting 😂🙄why are you here exactly? Better you go learn the difference between their and there...You tried to be clever but now you look like a fool. You see how trying to spread hate doesn’t work?
This song, the whole album is like classic straight away. It’s as if the album has been out 5-6 years. Just keeps getting better every time you listen to it
Got over whelmed with emotion watching this one, so pure, genuine, and lovely to see. What a fabulous heart warming video, couldnt have been any more perfect! GOAT!!!! The realest, the most versatile, the most talented MC I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. Not just because he's from east London where I grew up, but just an all round humble human being. Just look at this video, listen to the lyrics and you'll know what Kano is all about. Core values!
