I don't think it's fair to call Cressy a serve bot- he's anything but. He can actually get into rallies and he's unbelieveable at the net.

@@juanpedroarevalo8130 I've been following him for several years- I think you underestimate his resources. He goes for it all on his 2nd serve, he can stay in volleys, and he's unreal around the net. It's a very unusual style and hard to plan for.

unfortunately Wimbledon is slower than every other grass court tournament (because longer rallies bring crowds and make money) so he likely will sink at SW19

De Minaur has excellent mental strength that can be matched with top level players. IMO he needs to bulk up or find a different racquet so that balls have more weight

Cressy is such a breath of fresh air. But the Wimbledon draw with Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first round is quite a big challenge. Should be a fun match though.

Such a shame de minaur doesn't generate a few extra miles on his shots. The way he runs is always because of slower balls given to the opponent. I think he could really get a higher ranking if he had that.

I mean yea but that isnt feasible at his age. Its like asking Diego to just be taller or Isner to be faster. They are who they are because of who they are. There is a reason the big 3 are a similar height that's in between being short and tall.

He needs a bit more power on his shots. When he gets a short ball, it’s like he can’t take advantage of it. He should lower string tension a little bit or consider a little bit more lead tape in the hoop

De minaur is 6 ft tall, so I think he definitely has the physicality to hit bigger. I think he needs to rework the mechanics of his strokes. Looks like he’s trying to force each shot rather than use his body mechanics to naturally generate power. Shapovalov who is only 1 inch taller than De Minaur hits with a lot of power just based on the efficiency of his form.

He is a real force. Unfortunately only for 5 weeks a year during the grass season. He can be also dangerous at faster hard courts but unfortunately for him so much of the tour is happening on clay where serve&volley is not going to work. As much as I like his gutsy style of tennis, he needs to get more versatile if he wants to get higher ranking and keep it.

Some of the best players in the world have been banned. The old equations are probably no longer valid. There is a strong challenge from America this year. You might see some new faces

To be honest, Cressy seems me a very hard player to face on grass, but he depends much of his first serves and accuracy at the moment of hitting in the net, as in this match it was. That's why i imagine a tough match for this final, but in my opinion, Fritz will win in straight sets.

Cressy has lost more matches than he's won this year but on grass he's something totally different. The serve and volley game still is effective on grass. Cressy is not bad from the back of the court either. His style is similar to that of Ivo Karlovic except that his serve is not as big but he's better on defense.

De Minaur needs to hit harder. Otherwise he'll only ever be a Top 30 player. He has the legs and the mental strength but his shots are far too weak currently.

He doesnt have the technique and the physcial build to hit harder. It will never happen. I also think rank 15 to 20 is the best he can hope for. Which isnt bad, but he will never be a top 10 player.
