Hi! Sorry for the late reply, but to ensure it will fit them perfectly, measure their forehead // ear-to-ear part. That measurement will be your base for the top hat :)). Add more inc/base rows as necessary before proceeding to the ear holes part. Check timestamp: 10:29 or 10:39 for an example 🥰.

I actually appreciate it but the fact the i cant catch up and the next step wasn't that clearly said. Just like the chain 16 and then idk whats next it also doesn't fit cuz the other one is bigger than the other one idk i dont understand
Hi, my love! I am so sorry for replying late! But if you are still confused by the pattern, I'd like to help and clarify ittt. For the earholes for Medium size, the pattern goes like this: Row 7: chain 2, double crochet 7 times, chain 16, and then skip 8 stitches. On the 9th stitch, connect the chain 16 by doing 1 double crochet, then do 15 more double crochet on the next 15 stitches (= 16 dc). Then, repeat the pattern: do another chain 16 (for the other earhole), skip 8 stitches, and then on the 9th stitch, connect the chain 16 by doing a double crochet. Do 7 more double crochet (=8 dc in total). You are supposed to reach the end of the row if your stitch count is correct. Slip stitch to start row 8.
