They gave her some “Rising Star” streaming award, despite the fact she’s peaked at a couple hundred live viewers. She’s like the worst streaming industry-plant ever.
Oh hey something I can comment on. 28:20 - I work in the mental health field and she almost definitely interpreted that in the worst possible faith. It is EXTREMELY common for therapists to initiate conversations about potential points of conflict in the theraputic relationship. This is NOT hostile in 99.99% of cases. It's to help the client feel comfortable and, potentially, initiate finding them a different provider if they want it. A lot of clients are afraid to advocate for themselves because they're worried about hurting their therapist's feelings. If, for example, a black client isn't comfortable with a white therapist, they might not say anything (and make no progress because they're so uncomfortable) OR they might quit therapy altogether and never come back rather than initiate that conversation. A lot of clients are very grateful or relieved when the therapist brings it up, because it makes them feel like they can share their feelings without hurting anyone's feelings. That's why it's HUGELY important for therapists to bring up conversations like these with their clients. Again, this is an EXTREMELY NORMAL thing for EVERY therapist, no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc. She frames it like her Jewish therapist is just some crazy pro-israel zelot or something. I wasn't there, but you're most likely right that the therapist probably picked up that this was super important to Frogan. They probably initiated the conversation, sensing a point of potential conflict, and Frogan either took it the completely wrong way or is exaggerating.
I googled Frogan and was curious how old she was and the google AI gave me this "Morgan, also known as Frogan, is a Twitch streamer who was born on January 2, 1997, making her 27 years old. Frogan is half-Lebanese and half-White, and from Dearborn, Michigan. She is a former public health scientist who quit her job to stream full-time in 2022. Frogan is 6'5" and has played games such as Mech Arena: Robot Showdown. In 2023, Frogan won the Rising Star Award at the Streamer Awards" 🤣🤣
"-as a black woman" Me as a black dude: ... After listening for 5 minutes you tick none of the boxes to qualify, but lets humor your happy horseshit for a minute.
about the Lebanese white comment. Lebanese is an ethnicity that means anyone who has a cultural background that can be traced to Lebanon or are from the Lebanon culture themselves White is a skin color with the official term for the race being "Caucasian" (which is controversial due to how it came about) depending on where she's from (I'm just going to assume America) she would be called "Lebanese American" the racial group (or the group that they are put in due to physical similarities ) for Lebanese people would be the MENA group (Middle Eastern North African) Hope this sort of clears up things Edit: I mixed up race and ethnicity but fixed it
@@Elstree yea. It was a racist ideology based off of the fact someone saw people from the Caucus mountains and found them to "be so beautiful"(gag for sexualization of a culture/ethnicity) that any European or white person HAD to be descended from them. Scientific racism and white supremacy at it's finest
Also Frogan has said her mother is white and her father is Lebanese. Also Lebanese is a culture/"group of people", there are various ethnicities within Lebanon.
Luds point is his audiance cares more about gaming and that space then the political space. Lud does a fundraiser sure people will donate but most will be like wtf is this
"from the mountain to the sea palestine will be free" i thought when regular non-hamas protesters in palestine's say that they genuinely meant that they wanted to overthrow the israeli government, not kick out the israeli civilians. there is a general consensus among non-antisemitic pro-palestinians that they feel the israeli government and institution is the problem and they want to create a new free nation, (similar to the US wanting to overthrow the british and make their own government, but they didn't mean kill all brits, they can stay if they agree to become american citizens. so in the same vein israelis can stay if they agree to become palestinian civilians)
I guess this is what being in hasans community for to long, to deeply, does to a person... fills you hate and racial prejudice. While instilling a victim mentality where the only explanation for life's uncomfortabities is a prejudice against oneself Really ironic how many times this plays out... that the ppl that scream everyone is a nazi 'ism or 'ist.. all seem to be constantly projecting. Where the ppl that get labeled, disrespected and demonized... rarely give that much of a F about you to dedicate the energy to hate you or think about life's situations thru the social justice lenses you view the world thru Kinda sad actually... watching these guys that should be my peers, loose themselves so deeply, in everything they say they hate 😮💨
That Zionist therapist story is like incredibly unhinged and framed very falsely. I know the video goes over it, but she acts as though the therapist was in the wrong to ask that question, acts like she just clocked her as Lebanese (you’re half and you look whiter than most Icelandic people, calm down) and just misinterpreted base level therapy. That therapist asked those questions because her dad was a WAR REFUGEE, in a war that the therapist’s NATION was fighting against her father’s nation. I would imagine not wanting to withhold something that could be a point of conflict with your client such as being from the country that could’ve killed your family. It just came off as very racist, very unhinged, and super detached from reality. I think most Jews probably want to see Israel continue to exist, that’s Zionism at its base.
Literally any normal person would understand why a therapist would bring up her nationality in these circumstances as it’s a potential conflict of interest, she’s just an idiot
The moment where you asked us to write a timestamp below was my favorite moment, but I wont timestamp it because im not a sheep. (Am i doing it right guys?)
1:11 this is Pipkin Pippa - most BASED vtuber on the internet. people call her right wing or controversial because she likes edgy jokes and grew up with 4chan. she is funny AF tho 1:15 this is Ironmouse - one of the biggest female twitch streamers and most subscribed female twitch streamer since 2022 IIRC YW
Only 18 minutes in but this RU-vidr gives like the most uncharitable interpretations of the RU-vidr in question like ohhh my goddd. I know it’s the internet but holy shit are you this skeptical of everyone in every day life? She framing this so intently that and biased I can’t listen to another word.
Tbh from the actual objective evidence put in Frogan does seem like a stupid and annoying person but (at least to me) it seems incredibly obvious that Stardust's beef with her stems almost entirely with the fact that Frogan is an anti-Zionist. Not even for being an objectively shitty antisemite that uses anti-Zionism as a front, but just generally because she's an anti-Zionist. Like when she criticized Ludwig's reasoning against a Palestinian charity stream. She wasn't mad that he "donated to a charity" (??!?!) like Stardust said, nor was she even critical of Ludwig's decision to not host a stream. She was specifically criticizing Ludwig's *reasoning* for doing it because his framing can come across as him being uninterested because it wouldn't lend him enough clout. Even Papa Gut agreed that was a weird and out of touch statement from Ludwig.
White or mixed is the race & Lebanon would be her nationality. For me, my ethnicity would be Latina. I don’t know in her case if her ethnicity would be considered Arab or Middle Eastern? I am a little bit ignorant in that area of things.
