Paul Arnold and myself wrote this soundtrack back in 1997. Sadly you'll only see our credit on the game if you complete it which was nigh on impossible!
All I can say is thank you, man. Stumbled across this music just now after probably 12 years and I'm instantly transported. It's such a unique feeling -- This game and this music completely defined a good part of my childhood. So, thank you.
Wow.. I used to just put this cd in my stereo since it was one of the few you could just listen to the game music that way. That was soo awesome. The music was incredible.
Had the PC game and not only was this a great soundtrack, I remember it being hard as crap. The Retro, Sewer, and Cactus zones had the cheeful music and the Cloud zones made me sleepy
I remember playing this game back in the day with my dad! He's too old to play it now, but those were some of the most fun memories I have with him. Hearing the soundtrack brings it all back
Out of all the catchy & serene music this game has(& considering I never made it to the end of the game) I never expected they’d go for level songs with strange fart noises.
thanks for the upload, I ripped the disc many years ago but I never thought to upload it! Just searched it to see if anyone had uploaded it, so thank you for taking the time to do that and to label all the levels that each track covers! My #1 track has to be the Arctic antics level, so beautiful
This brings back so many memories from my childhood, simpler times. I never actually beat the game because I was so young, but I always enjoyed playing and listening to the music.
I was talking to a friend about videogame music, this soundtrack came up, I still have such vivid mental images of each level as each track played!!!! ❤
Bit of a shame that you didn't include the audio that plays whenever the game is loading, whether it be loading into a level or being sent back to the main menu after Game Over-ing. That audio is a jam and I want to sample it.
Hey, this is great stuff! Thank you! But could you also rip the zone-completion fanfares and the unused secondary Tropical Zone theme (if it's even in the PSX version)?
Thank you for this! Been looking for a full rip! I wonder, what did you used to rip the files? I have a Q*Bert disc and I want to rip the music since I can't find it anywhere!
