Thank you for sharing your story. It is truly inspirational. Now that I am in my 40s I am beginning to realize that there us more to life than this rat race. I live in the US and make a 6 figure income but feel so unsatified. I crave freedom and simplicity. Your story gives me hope.
Hello, thank you for sharing. I'm happy to hear that our story can be of some sort of inspiration. There is something special about finding freedom in time and finding beauty in the simplicity of life. There is no better time to start than in the present. 🙏
Sometimes, a lot of money is not all what is cracked up to be. I rather make less and have more freedom of choice on how I want to live and how i am going to make my money.
One of the benefits of living in PR is that you can do most of your living outdoors. Put heat producing appliances outdoors. Build an outdoor kitchen. Yes do hang laundry outside the items will smell fresher without the use of toxic fresheners. Don’t get caught up with the big house trend they are not only money pits but energy exhausting. Both for humans and energy resources. Grow a good forest. We both moved three years ago to PR from the states to live without exorbitant taxes, exorbitant insurance, be totally off grid without invasive restrictions, etc. etc.etc. Plus the ability to grow our own food year round. No problem for us living in 176 sq. ft. You’re guys are doing a fantastic job! Bravo!
Amen Brother, what you guys are doing is basically what we did in January 2020. We lived in Port St.Lucie, Fl. and everything got so expensive that we just couldn't do it anymore. We saw how God was shutting the doors for us in Florida and put a burning in my heart for PR. We had been there a few times visiting some of my wife's family, and really enjoyed it but as for my wife, she said she would NEVER more to Puerto Rico. She was born and raised in Queens, NY and then moved to Florida in her late 30's, and even that was a culture shock for her. She finally got used to Florida and lived there for 20+ years before making the move. God took us to Moca, just 4 minutes down the road from my wife's older cousin that moved their about 15 years ago from Florida tambien. We live in a 950 square ft. house only 5 minutes from the plaza. We have lived there now for almost 4 years and we love it! All of our neighbors take care of each other and help one another. We are truly Blessed. There is only 1 draw back that I have and that is, not being able to see my children and all of the grandchildren. They are all in California and it gets pretty expensive to go back and forth. We were hoping that the kids would come and visit and want to move to PR, but that won't happen! They can't seem to leave our Chicano Culture. I know once they experienced the peace and tranquility of Puerto Rico, they would leave that Culture quick and have peace in their lives for once! We keep everything in prayer. Thank you for sharing your story with us all. May God Bless you and your familia abundantly. God Bless you in The Name of Jesus.
How do you feel the life is on that side of the island? Criminal activities, the crisis with the government and its bankruptcy, access to supermarkets and online buys deliveries, blackouts, extreme heat in the summer and all of that. That is what I keep in mind every time I think about buying a property over there. I am in Florida and would like a second home in PR.
@@vaderladyl The south west side of the Island is beautiful, we don't experience any crime and everything is located within a few minutes from us. Our little neighborhood is amazing, it consists of 3 main families. Everyone is either related or have grown up together. We love everyone there and everyone looks out for each other. Living outside of the Big cities is much different. It is much quieter and layed back. I suggest that you take a few days and look around different parts of the Island and see what you think. Aguadilla Airport is a good place to fly into. Hope this helped, God Bless you.
Only a few min in and already love this family story. You definitely have your priorities on point! What a gift you are giving your children, priceless!

Qué Dios los bendiga éso es un sueño realisado. Me encantan ver Como Puerto Riqueños 🇵🇷 están volviendo a la Isla, qué Dios los bendiga y les conceda todos sueños y sus peticiones.

Welcome to Puerto Rico and welcome to Manantiales neighboor. I came to PR in the 70's and been living here in Manantiales for 44 yrs. Love this place, very peaceful. God bless
Why not expand on the house. God wants you there. and the water is not far, make a lake like they do in Florida and make it your own. get chickens and ducks and a lil goat. you will be blessed. Love you guys
You guys have been blessed. You really don’t need to leave. You can build onto it with a growing family. If you want to be totally self sufficient you only need a well and collect rainwater and have killer filtration system and you’re set. I live in San Lorenzo on an acre and I wish my acre was flat like yours. I’ve only been living here a year after the restoration of the home. But I still need to put in a lot of work for retaining walls and all that which you don’t need to worry about. Aguadillas is a very nice place as well. So if you got good schools for your kids and the supermarket is not too far you’re all set. Just dig a well and a good filtrations system and your good to go.
Hello, We do love it here. We are just fine tuning where we will feel most at home. We still have all of these things in mind and plan on taking it to our next property. Keeping our eyes opened. 😊
@@backtotheislandPR that’s great. Just remember to give yourselves at least two years before marking a decision. That’s how long it usually takes for a person to settle in a new place. A minimum of two years. Then if you feel it’s not for you them you have to do what you must. I pray for God to help you make the right decision for yourselves. God bless you and guide you.
Thank you! I'm sure you guys will find the perfect home. Let us know if you're in need of a realtor. We will be more than happy to share the contacts. 😊
You guys are definitely motivation for me and my family. Me and my family are building the house that we always wanted. In Salinas 🇵🇷 maybe one day we can meet. God bless you and your family.
Love your home, don’t worry about it being small & cozy. ❤️ Your place reminds me of when I grew up in Brooklyn New York in the 70’s and we shared bedrooms with bunk beds too. Family of seven, but my parents made it work in our apartment building. They owned the apartment building with 4 apartments. We lived in one of the apartments and my dad had the basement finished for us to utilize. Your place looks peaceful and tranquil! Life is about being comfortable and at peace! Thanks for sharing your wonderful video! God bless you & your family! 😊❤️🙏🏾
I born in Puerto Rico and I love my island ❤Live in Florida now! My son for the first time visiting Puerto Rico and he love it! So he’s planning to buy and move there🎉so I’m going back with him and his wife and kids! See you soon Puerto Rico!
Love what you are doing with your 5 acre farm in Puerto Rico. Beautiful! What a dream come true. My grandparents were born and raised in P.R. one in the Santa Isabelle area and the other in the Salinas area. I've been there once and loved it. I really would love to go back. Best wishes to you and your family. Dios le bendiga!
I remember as a kid living in PR near San Juan in a town called Rio Piedras. I still have family there that live in Caguas and Bayamon. I'd love to be able to buy a piece of property out there someday. That would be very cool!!
beautiful don't give up I did the same thing and thanks GOD this year going back to the island, so I be there leaving the cold weather then come back to Jersey when hot again cuss I want to enjoy my retirement. THANKS GOD.
First your home is beautiful looks so cute and cozy🙌 Your video just pop up and I’m like wow God is good! 🙏My husband and I are want to move to la isla but that first step we don’t have an idea how. Any advice for us? thank you 😊 and God bless 🙏
Pretty cool. I'll be in Puerto Rico in February and have long thought that inland PR would be a great place to survive an apocalypse with a small farm and a strong community.
Hope for no ocean levels rising! Nor tsunamis Both of which the US is prepping for, for the last decade if not longer… Plus these things are prophesied by prophets today God’s will is safest place, no doubt, but ppl perish for lack of knowledge, also
God blessed you with the house and land so beautiful😮😮😮 so quiet so much green you need a dog but it's so pretty . Blessings 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻and I subscribed thanks
