I just found you Kirby, I am a new believer from Islam to Christianity just couple of months, my father was killed too, and I was hurting for so many years, I’ve been through a lot, but letting the true God that I didn’t know in gives me hope, I am only living the couple of months that I know Christ he healed from depression anxiety, in Islam I thought we had God but that was not God that Allah or what ever he’s called never comforted me, but the true living loving God we are not alone, he was always their but I didn’t know him. You are lucky to know him at a young age. We have an Heavenly Father thank you a God.

trust me that our God isn't Jesus and Jesus isn't our God and no his son. He is a messenger from Allah and our Muslims love Jesus but our God is Allah and He is the Greatest there's no God but Allah and you can learn and read about Islam religion 😊🌷

I got saved witnessing to an atheist. It was a very humbling experience, but it's also a very long story. I want to share this but I will 'try' to keep it as short as possible -but I will probably fail LOL- First off, when I was about 14, I also wanted to die, but that was because I didn't realize how blessed I was. I thought everyone hated me, but that was a bit too far in the past, but I cried so hard I thought I could suffocate myself. God spoke to me then and He told me He loved me. I then went from tears of sadness to tears of joy and I heard the song 'The Words That I Would Say' by The Sidewalk Prophets... Many things have happened since then, but I realized I wasn't truly saved. I thought I was saved when I was much younger because I feel like God revealed things to me spiritually, but it caused me to develop pride which was not of God. But because I figured now that God revealed Himself to me, I must commit to Him and be kinda like a warrior for Him. When actually that wasn't salvation. I thought it meant 'commit to Him 100%' not that I thought works got me to Heaven, but I 'asked him into my heart'... or I thought I did (but it's not the words that get you to Heaven.) But I missed the whole point of salvation. I thought, "well if I'm good now (trying to do things for God)It must be a result that I'm saved." (It's actually kind of hard to explain) So on the internet, I'm always running into atheists. I wasn't mean to them, but I expressed my pride acting like a 'know it all.' But if they don't understand like what they think we do about the Bible, what I said was pointless and knowing that; without thinking about it I was belittling them because I am a Christian and they're not. But one day, I was talking to an atheist and this time it was different. God put me in a position where it was almost as if He put both me and the atheist on trial. And God gave me an open mind for this atheist. And God allowed me to realize how much He loves us... "I belittled the atheist... but God didn't." He loved the atheist, and just like anyone or any atheist, God seeks for him to come Home. For me to belittle him was no business of mine because only God knows his heart, and this poor atheist was hurt in the past and blamed God for it, and for once I began to hurt for an atheist. And this broke God's heart as well. But this time I deeply realized it. God showed mercy to him. I realized I was no better than what I thought an atheist was. After this I poured out a long letter about what God did for me that week. And through that God revealed to me everything He had truly done. And I hit the floor and sobbed begging God to forgive me and to come into my life because He is all that I have, because without Him I am nothing! And after that, for hours I spent writing a long comment to the atheist apologizing while sobbing heavily, and explained everything to him and how God used Him. And the atheist began to open up with me about why he is an atheist and then he said I could pray for him if I felt the need to. =) So that's when I realized that being saved is not committing to Him 100%, it's LETTING GOD 100% because He is in control! Not that God has to ask for your permission, but you have to let God be the Lord and Savior of your life because without Him you are NOTHING! Because God is ALL you have. Everything else surrounding your life are but gifts from God! Friends, family... even OXYGEN! Without God you would have none of those! Even though those things are highly valuable to me, they belong to God and they should be treated as such! But NONE of them compares to God! If all those things pass away... who are you left with? GOD!

Hey, thanks for the reply. =) I'm not completely sure how to explain it, but I can pray for you that you will understand it, because the whole thing is between you and God and I don't know your relationship with Him on a personal level like you do. I can try to explain it the best I can at my personal level in the simplest way possible. I can start with, that it is a personal journey with everyone, and everyone's relationship with God is different but they should all have one basic meaning and that is based on how desperate you need Him and know from the bottom of your heart you need Him. God is your Father and He loves you with His whole heart. No one can repay Him and that is why you must simply accept His Grace and understand you can never be perfect and let Him be the Lord of your life. I think most people believe that means you 'gotta be a slave' and stuff... I believed that at one point, but when you accept His Amazing Grace and the Love He has for you, there is a huge burden that will lift off your shoulders. You will face some pretty tough trials, but you will at least have some peace that He will walk with you always and He will never leave you, You just have to trust in Him. Know that if you make a mistake, He is like the Perfect Father. He still loves you when you make a mistake, but just like a Father, He will be heart broken when you sin, but He is absolutely willing to pick you back up, dust you off, and put you back on your feet again when you ask. All it takes is complete surrender.

Brielle Bordelon Fear of not being saved shows that you are under spiritual attack from the enemy. I too, used to feel the same way as you do. But things changed after I joined a discipleship and this discipleship had really went to the very core of my spiritual journey, including Salvation. I understand why you feel that way. Sometimes even after we have received salvation, the enemy will make you feel "unworthy" to enter the heaven by making you reminiscing about your sins in the past. You are afraid and thinking that Jesus won't forgive you even after you have confessed and asked for His forgiveness, when He actually had forgiven you. Fear of not being saved is very dangerous as this shows that you don't believe in His power to save you. But that doesn't mean you cannot fight these evil spirits as the Spirit that lies within you is much greater than the wicked spirits in this world 😊 If you pray and still feel that way, you really should meet your leaders in your church or straight away meet your pastor and tell him about this serious matter so that he can pray for you. Sometimes it requires someone else to pray for you when you feel like you are unable to do so (James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.). Always declare and proclaim the Words from the bible into your life because that means you are letting God's word to reign over your life brielle😊 "Confession is the FIRST step to being healed". thank you for you story because i had many doubts in god and the internet made it worse. Some atheist was telling god is man made was which scared me because I had doubt but my mom told me on miracle that god has done for her and now am obsession on going to church and ask for help. Try to have strong faith and how many people that go to church they are very happy and how they living great lives. My doubt came from my friend who believe in god but goes to party and a lot atheist come on telling me is pointless even telling after we die there is nothing then i had my first and hopefully last panic attack. I kept on searching for answers on the internet but I know it is the wrong way because the internet is not a spiritual place and I start asking people church who told things that science can prove made me realize how they want us to feel empty but god will make us feel whole. Thank you for sharing your story because I felt alone at this subject. Now i know we are not alone.

Thank you for making this video, God really used this to speak to me. My Dad went to be with Jesus about a year ago and I myself try to fix things and I always fail when I try to do it without relying on God. What is really awesome is that I needed to see this video tonight and I had prayed ford God to help me, and then I see this and it is exactly what I needed. God is so great!!!!

Mark Smith , haven’t you heard the phrase ‘ a testimony is a hard thing to get but a blessing to have’. Most people come to Jesus after an awakening from a broken time in their life like a near death drug addiction, loss of a child, all kinds of life events make us realize we need our savior. Jesus wasn’t hanging out with people who thought they had everything together. He helped those with were desperate and cried out to him. So many people wait for a tragedy to realize its a good time to seek God. I can’t tell you the amount of people I’ve seen dying or attending a funeral or things like that when they realized then that God is there for them.

Nana Ekua Sarpong the key is just turning to our Savior. Jeremiah 1:5 shows us that before the foundation of the world, before God had made the heavens and the earth He had already planned out your destiny. So He knows everything. I recommend starting to read the Bible because Hebrews 4:12 shows that it is living and active and John 1:1 shows that the Word is God. The Word of God is Jesus Christ so reading His Word brings us closer to Him, we search the Scriptures for Christ and even when you feel like He is not there Romans 10:12 shows us that there is no difference between Jew or Gentile for the same God is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him. Romans 8:27 tells us basically that God looks at our heart to see what we are thinking. So the fact that you even acknowledge your spiritual life is kinda shaky i believe is God speaking to you. Call you back to Him. So pray, don't turn it into a law but try to call upon His name. God bless. Xx

When you explain your Holy Spirit experience, I knew EXACTLY what you meant. I also had it before and I cannot really explain what it feels like. It comes so suddenly and it feels like your soul is moving. It's something you cannot prove, but I pray that everyone who is suffering from depression, social anxiety or whatever will open their hearts to experience it because they will be healed immediately. I have a prayer request my adopted mom's husband is an atheist, his name is Pat, and he was in the hospital not long ago, and he has a rare type of pneumonia. He's gonna be okay but he's on oxygen right now. And theyre son Ben is an alcholic. And her daughter in law's nephew Joel has been in and out of the hospital with lymphoma. He's only 12 and is a sweet kid. Thank you for praying for these important people in my life. ✝️💜 Thanks for the like, Pat has recently gotten saved, and Joel is cancer free praise God!.❤️✝️❤️🙌 But Pat still needs prayers ❤️

Hey Kirby, Idk if you'll read this or not but I feel like God is telling me to say this. A couple months ago my church was having a testimony week and all of my friends were doing it and it looked fun, but when people asked me to do I thought that my testimony was boring or it didn't matter. Your video and your heartbreaking and joyous testimony made me realize that not only mine but everyone's testimony matters. And I sincerely thank you for that.

Thank you for this. My Dad passed away 4 years ago. My daughter and I watch you tube videos to fall asleep. But the videos have to be about Jesus. Today, for some reason, the grief of my Dad just came on me strong earlier today. I cried through out the day. I was asking God to give me strength because I miss my Daddy. My Dad was the family member that understood me. He made me first priority. The rest of my family ignores me and my kids. It's hard to accept. But I know God is with us. People use to bully me bc I loved Jesus. And I removed them from my life and then I went to church camp and made new friends that were going through what I was going through and now I have really good friends that don't let me down. 😁😁🙂😇

This is my survival testimony I suffered a massive stroke 3years ago my stroke las ted for 5hours before I was able to receive medical treatment, the almighty gave this wretch grace and spared this sinners life, I will have a radical healing testimony to share soon, for , I have claimed the promise of a 1,000 foldblessing according to deuteronmy 1:11 His promise cannot fall to ground, I look forward to sharing my healing testimony I’m only waiting for my decree to be established according to job ‪22:28‬ I declare and decree my wait is over I’m next in line for a miracle, blessed be the name of Jesus , his mighty name will be glorified through my healing testimony , may my testimony bring faith to others that are facing I’m tankful for this trial thank Your u father for allowing it to happen, I decree , I decree Isaiah 53:5 , &isiah 43:1, and isaiah61 it’s I declare that this is my harvest search son please stand in agreement I declare that a kairos month is in my horizon amen and amen I was born 5 weeks premature the doctors didn’t think I was going to make it so the chaplain asked my parents if he could baptize me,from what I can gather 5 represents GODS grace and favor; hosanna!! Dear Kirby, because of you, because of this video, I've never realized how much I need Jesus more than ever. I've been depressed for about 3-4 years. I'm only 16. And my parents are constantly telling me to give it ALL to Him. But every time I pray, or read the Word, I feel like nothing gets through to me. I'm tired of feeling numb and dull. I believe Jesus truly does save, I just want to believe he can do it for me. I want to feel that love that everyone talks about. I want him to speak to me. I was saved or I thought I was when I was 13 in a gospel camp. I was really proud about it and as the trials came I failed. I entered this place where I felt like a prodigal son. It's weird because I've heard that story a thousand times and I used to think "he should go back, why is he prolonging his torment?" But then I realised that it wasn't so easy to do that with all the pride I had in me. I wanted to keep showing people that I was saved, so I never asked anyone about what I should do. I didn't want to seem lost because I had already told everyone that I was saved. I longed for their relationship with God but I couldn't bring myself to ask them how I should go about it. When my alcoholic brother who I used to look down on got saved it hit me hard. I was happy for him but I was sad for myself. I was the one who my parents used as an example. I realised that God could take you from 0-100 vice versa if the need arises. But I still denied. The signs weren't enough for me. When my parents started getting into fights it hit me hard like their love was the love I've always wanted for myself, what I looked for in relationships. I started to stop calling them because I didn't want to disturb them or add to the stress they're going through, I was convinced that if I added a little more to their burden they'd divorce and that terrified me. I've started praying less since I was 16 and after that I just stopped completely because I couldn't turn away from temptations and I fell over and and over everyday. I felt like God wouldn't want me anymore or I should turn to God when I'm ready to let everything go. The devil makes you think you have time you know. All these things made me depend heavily on friends. I had good ones and I had fake ones. It was hard to differentiate because I was so desperate for their approval because deep down I knew that I didn't have God's approval. So now in college God gave me a bunch of friends and recently took them away from me. I felt lost because I didn't feel like I had my family there for me and now my friends left me. I thought I had no one. But I decided to call my mom and she told me that God takes you to rock bottom so that you realise that He is the only one you can trust. When friends or families fail you He's the one you turn to. So here I am trying to turn back to God. Normally RU-vid is where I watch tutorials, DIYs etc you name it every trending topic, I'm on it. But after watching a few testimonies, sermons etc I feel at peace. I might not be there yet but I'll keep trying taking one day at a time. I realised now that all the things that tempt me won't go away, I might fall but I will always get back up again. Thank you for this video. It touched me in a way I can't explain. It makes me really want to seek God.

Hey, something about believing in Jesus is that it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works... so we can´t do anything to be good, cause we are not good. Jesus makes us good, you don´t have you change yourself, you have to let Jesus changes you. Like ''God, i like doing this, even though i know is wrong and bad, but please, take it away and help me never doing it again'' believe me, is better, and permanent. He's not looking your sin, He's looking Christ on you. Bye :)

Check out Andrew Farley videos, he is good at clarifying scripture too. Keep seeking Jesus with an open and true heart. That's all that matters, really. I came to realize that He looks at each of us like a precious gem, as we're beautiful to Him... believe it or not. :) As Laura says, we're saved *only* by His grace, not by any of our works. We cannot save ourselves, so take comfort in knowing *HE* knows that. :) And yes, even Paul admitted to being tempted and sinning after being saved. The mind is still flesh and fallen, and it needs continual renewal daily. Jesus said: *"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."* - Matthew 11:28-30

Aw, what an inspirational testimony!!! You have a ministry it seems! So gifted in sharing HIS LOVE. Not sure how I stumbled on your testimony today, but ugh....I was crying with you when you started talking about your Dad I didn't lose my dad, but parent's had an ugly divorce, and it hurts. There really is nothing that thrills me more than hearing of others who were lost like me and are now found!!! I can imagine how hard that was to share, but God is using it for his Glory. all week...even this morning I cried because even today its almost hard to believe that Im alive. At the peek of my depression when I thought of killing myself,,,God would say, not now...later He would say...not today...and He would say that everyday until I finally realised that I wanted to live. God has been telling me this whole week to share my testimony but it is so hard...the truth is....its almost surreal. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I love you for that. I went through the whole God taking over my body too. It was at this Christian retreat and it was a kind of rough time in my life where I was surrounded by my anxiety and it just felt like I was locked inside my head and couldn't get out. But anyways I was praying to him in this church with other kids and I was like please help me Lord like I'm here please show me I'm going to be okay. And I look up at one of the church windows and this ray of light comes through and lands only on me and this, this emence joy surrounds me and this calmness that tells me I'm safe and I'm going to turn out okay just envelopes me and I just start crying. That was in eighth grade and I know the lord touched me that day and I know that that is what Heaven feels like and now every time I'm in a bad place I look toward the lord :)

God gives or allows trials because he knows that we are NOT strong enough on our own to go through them well and to look to HIS life in us. Jesus HIMSELF, whose life is in all of his followers, IS strong enough to handle any and all trials. Praise God for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us!!

I went through a very similar thing with my parents...they split when I was 6 and then I went in a foster home that year due to my mother's alcoholism...I was moved around a lot that year...then I moved in with this woman and I am still here but when I was 11 I got really depressed because I was bullied about being a foster kid..then when I was 12 my dad was murdered a couple nights before he was supposed to sign the papers to fight for me in court so I could go live with him,that never happened but what I wanted to say to you Kirby is that this video has changed my life by leading me to our lord❤I thiught of myself as Christian as I grew up but I never really devoted my life to him but after this video I went prayed for forgiveness and that he would save me!I am so happy and living life the way he wanted☺THANK YOU❤❤❤❤

i cried watching this because I feel the same way you felt..i felt like I had no one in my life (I have all both of my parents and a younger sister whom I am grateful for).mt friends had turned on me and I felt alone..even at church the place where I thought most people would accept me I felt all alone. but watching this made me realize that I am not alone and that God lovess me more than anyone in this world could ever. I leave in the UK at the moment, I was about to go to bed but then I asked God to send me something inspirational to watch. I logged on youtube and types "Jesus of Nazareth" [that's my go-to movie of all time. So I don't know why I did this but I refreshed the youtube home page then I had your video being recommended to me, took me a moment to click on it but then I thought I have nothing to lose. I clicked on your video but decided to pause it coz I first wanted to say my evening prayer just in case I fall asleep while watching. And I did my prayer, finished it then set on my bed to watch your video. As I'm watching it, everything you just said about God and the love He has for us, words by words, I was like: "she is saying words for words the prayer I just made before watching her video". Trust me, I cried, had the chills and thank God sending me your testimony. You are an amazing soul and God our Loving Father loves you unconditionally.

To see your story brings me so much joy and I pray and I hope all those children I knew can come to the same realization that God is a GOOD FATHER and He loves them SO MUCH! Thank you for your willingness to be vulnerable and clearly the Lord has used it to bring in a harvest! I too grew up going to Sky Ranch camp in Van and I’ve got so many great memories (flying in the air off the blob on the lake lol). Anyways, thank you again... it brings hope to my heart for all those children I used to work with who went through such terrible heartbreak. Our God is truly a way maker and a miracle worker!

I’m a Christian but sometimes I feel a bit lost. Sometimes I forget what he does. Listening to you explain how you were filled with the Holy Spirit reminded me of when I accepted Jesus as my saviour. I remember the warmth and happiness and joy for life that filled me. Thank you x

& to think I was gonna scroll past this in my subscriptions... this doesn't relate to your story but I feel like I needed this as a Christian teenager who is so influence by so much bad that's out and Have moments of "joy" doing things I shouldn't I have forgotten that praising The Lord brings me so much REAL joy and fills my heart with positivity and happiness and I just forget that he's always with me no matter how sinful I can be. I had a rough life my dad died when I was 12 and I thought the same as you depression suicide today I had a huge argument with my sister all this anger that I had in me I started testing and questioning my faith so I prayed to God and I told him show me a sign that you are going to get me through this and he bought me here and I am so happy that he did😊

Found this extremely touching... lost my father at an very young age, parents were divorced and mother not around ... don't think I truly have gotten completely over the hurt until even this day.... even though I got welcomed in a new family soon after which probably saved me from more harm psychological harm and suffering. I have opened up to God some month ago and can get emotional now which I never did before. I could go to funerals of even young people and stay emotionally untouched. At none of the funerals in my life did I shed a tear, but something happened I have gotten very empathic since I realised the existence of God ... thank you for your testimony Kirby!
