Water would soak throught the floor we punched a whole in the floor and put a sump pump in and drain it never jad that problem again works with A float like a toilet when it gets so high pump kicks on my father owned five concrete companies that repair power plants dams and bridges and this was his solution to the your problem the water soaks through the bottom of the house because it comes down into a gully where the house was sitting you might have the same issue or low-lying piece of property where all the water pulls up underneath of your floor

so daves box came with all alcohol related items. So i think daves white claw issue's may be leading him to a 12 step program lol but but not lol definitely take alcoholism seriously. Im not saying Daves at that point. Just saying drinking can lead to a lifetime of hell if done daily from breakfast to bed. Kinda like on the Gum when Mike joked about to much drinking new liver lol and detox/rehab or whatever he said. its a joke but not a joke because drinking can literally go from a weekend fun thing to where you are having liquid lunch and eventually liquid breakfast. Just be safe y'all. Problemsike that can happen to anyone. I use to joke about alcoholism because there is stuff like heroin meth cocaine addicts. So use to think alcholic!?! until you see it destroy ppl first hand

Damon, in the Diablo behind your left elbow ( if you’re sitting in the driver seat ) is a battery disconnect. You twist the little cap off and it even has a little shelf it can sit on. Never have to worry about the battery dying again.

Polished concrete will look fantastic in the HQ, just one thing. It can be super freaking slippery! Make sure when the seal it they add something like silica sand to add some grip to it. If you do that you will be super happy with them !

I polish concrete, you don’t ever put sand in the sealer. That would cancel out the polish. You could use a glass bead product. But you don’t need to. With the sealer down, the concrete isn’t more slippery. It has basically the same slip as unpolished concrete when wet. Epoxy is more slippery than polished concrete.

I don't know if you'll ever notice this comment or not. Try covering the floor with Dam Proof Course (DPC) with neat cement finish then use the epoxy flooring. Cause DPC prevent moisture from climbing up. Hope you'll discuss this with company that'll be working.

Yeah just had it done throughout my property to fix damp issues, so far its worked perfectly, just make sure the cement is deep enough and reinforced if you are installing lifts with cars on them.

The black piece of equipment is a hepa vac that sucks up all the concrete powder, either hooked up to the grinder or as a stand alone vac. The grayish machine in the corner is the actual grinder/polisher. Looked like it is a Lavina 30-32” machine. What they use to actually grind the concrete are typically diamond pucks(sometimes carbide) that get finer until you get to the polishing pads which are a polymer?/diamond blend. The grinding picks usually range in the 100’s for the different grits, and the polishing pads range in the 1000’s. I used to work for a company who had these types of machine and I was the mechanic who fixed them.

Ha ha! Hard to get away with that on channels here in the UK. The law just changed here banning driving using any handheld electronic device that can send/receive data, including cameras. We all have to use mounted cameras or risk a big fine.

I used to work with one of the biggest companies that has contracts to work exclusively to grind and polish Walmarts floors. It is an amazing process and you will not regret it Damon. I'm sure these guys know what they're doing based on the equipment that I saw. It is gonna look amazing with your new lighting for sure. It's so much work to take coatings off of the floor like the one you had installed recently. I'm wondering what grit metals they are working with. 30/40's, 60/80's and up? 800 grit was the highest we were able to go upto on Walmarts because they say that they don't want it too Shiney where you could see up girls skirts lol. But the shinier the better. Take it up to 3000 grit if you can you won't regret.

I’ll tell you what if they did a 3 coat gp product that failed it is a lot of grinding. They have to do a high csp grind number to remove it all and then work on smoothing it out. Look at the dry mils on the coating that’s on the floor when he showed some areas where they started grinding. At least down here in miami your looking at over $5 a sq ft for grinding so I can imagine California.

The only other thing I can think of doing is to remove all the concrete floors.. Find the source of the water. Install perforated piping to draw water away from the shop and drain it into the sewer or let it drain out towards the beach. I know, the Germans used that perforated piping to drain water away from under the roadway on the Autobahn.

I know it's a pain in the ass but you know it makes sense and in the end when everything is all done and dusted you will be better off for it m8. I would take the lifts down and just store them in a different room there while they finish whatever room they're working on now and then get them to do the lift room next so your lift down time is to a minimum and let's face it bro you want that room finished as soon as possible anyway right?
