Karen, I read your bio to know mire about you. Self taught what visonist you are. We nit maybe 2-3 hours away. I' m in clayton California. I found your videos just a few days ago, as I am trying to loosen up in my paintings I started with Art from the cottage and then found you. She helped immensely and the 3 painting I did are fantastic. I am hoping using your technique will make me a better painter. I have been painting for 4.5 years and I am 71 years old and trying to learn as much as I can. You are such an inspiration, thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent.
I just found you on RU-vid today, and I've watched four of your videos already. I don't want to stop because you are such an amazing artist, but it's very late so sleep calls. I hope I dream of your artistic process. Thank you for being so inspiring!
your subjects change but your style is very recognizable and I love them all...TY for sharing with us...I,too,am an artist but my style has not been nailed down yet...I am going to work on that so ppl who love art are aware of the importance of artists' style and the consistency of style. Now I just need to choose one and stick with it. I admire your work, mrs Hale, and always come away from your paintings excited to go to the studio and paint! Again, I say thank you. sincerely sheila
Karen, thank you. Another amazing piece. Your work is so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for lifting my spirits at this most difficult time away from our children and grandchildren and unable to see my mom who is at end of life care. I love your work and this truly lifted my spirit today. Keep well and keep them coming because there are so many of us who look forward to watching your videos.
This is beautiful! I would love to see a video explaining the process as you go. I struggle with which colors to put down and when. You display this beautifully!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. This is a side project for me that takes longer to put together then I'd like sometimes. I work instinctively and have no idea how to teach that.
@@karenhalepaintings i am guessing that the best advice you could give him, and the answer he is looking for is that you let the acrylic paint to dry in between significant moves with the brush. what we see is seamless process, one might think you paint wet on wet all the time and when they try to do thesame all they get is mud.
Hello Karen. I am truly amazed. Thank you so much for sharing. I am certainly going to learn a lot from watching these wonderful videos and hopefully i can improve my technique. Thank you again
Karen thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us! I have struggled with my own abstract florals, and your tutorials have helped me so much. Thank you and stay safe and healthy!
Hi Karen! I hope you are in good health and strong enough to overtake Covid 19! I continue to follow his charming painting and his fascination that he dedicates to his paintings. It is undoubtedly one blessed by God for the form of her expression! I love how you paint! Your Portuguese admirer, with love! Mário
how in the h** !!! you amaze me with how your vision comes to beauty with what starts out with this twists and turns of the tools to the paint choices to the canvas I wish I could have half of your skill and ease with painting. ...beautiful work as always karen
Karen, we are blessed with your with your amazing ability to bring the canvas to life, however I am obsessed with your easel. U said it was made by your father? some day could you give us a quick peek at the genius he was? Love.
Thanks Elaine. I love my easel. On my facebook page on April 1, 2019 I did a post about my Dad with some photos. Don't know if you want to sift through all that but it gives a snapshot of him. My direct link is above in the "see more" but then you get my posts anyway, don't you?
Amazing!!! I love your painting a lot, I always follow you and look forward to your video with great joy and enthusiasm! Thank you for the beauty you give us! What kind of brush are you using, does it have bristles? A big, big hug from Italy! 💕
