It's crazy that you're understanding these things that PC gamers have been telling you firsthand. I've said it before, but I'll do so again: I've enjoyed watching our evolution through all this PC gaming stuff you've been doing. When all is said and done, and you eventually buy your high-end machine, go back and watch some of your early entries in this series of videos, and marvel at where you've come.
people are horrible everywhere bro . glad you got it sorted. I'm on pc as well, it's always a learning experience, that is actually what makes it fun, trouble shooting and figuring out the problem. it's all part of the Pc experience.
Glad you got it figured out and like I said before, I appreciate you taking the time to post these updates to show people what it's really like and some of the problems you may face.
You finally know what it feels like to deal with jealous and hateful trolls. PC is the clear winner simply because it just gives you options, endless options.
I'm glad you got it sorted, Doc. I still think you'd be better off getting a gaming monitor and preferably a high refresh rate one, but if you genuinely think the TV is doing it justice that's cool.
you can adjust the brightness on the actual graphics card in the control panel google that so you can use hdr...its good to see you happy man i love this right here...we all deserve to have fun without haters hating all day

Even with a potato Pc you're still the master of your machine, not the corporation you bought it from or its components. pc Masterrace never was about power, despite the fact that a 800 bucks machine outperforms 9th gen consoles easily. the true point of the PC masterrace is freedom. You can chose your storefront, you have 10,000s of games on steam to chose from. You can chose your hardware components, you don't have to pay for online, you even can switch the Operating System. You are the master of your experience.
@bosskey23 nah. I'm still on a 3090. I always skip a gen and I'm still on Ultra everything, I just rarely need to go down to 1440p with VRR. My eldest gets my 3090 rig when I upgrade after 5 years. At no time have I had to experience console level gaming! 😘
@bosskey23 well, that was always a problem, lol. But you are correct. I guess that's why I stay away from competitive gaming and just stick to things where nobody takes things too serious. I remember people jumping 100ft in the air in Halo 2 and I didn't want to play it again, and that was on the OG Xbox
His upscaled sh!t looks just as good as if it was native, even with "FAKE" frames, especially at 115FPS. We all know if you look at a native resolution vs. FSR, AMD UPSCALING and all the other tech AMD uses, you, with your naked eye, can't tell the difference. DF needs the tech to pixel count. They aren't just looking at the screen with their eyes. You talk and think like a true console gamer. We know you wish it ran at no less than 60FPS on SERIES X. This is the stupid copium sh!t you bots say when you have no argument and can't land your mental gymnastics.

I think the best thing you can do is buy an OLED tv. Especially for this game. You can barley see anything in the dark in this game and once you see an oled you be in love. I think even a series x on an oled looks better than a pc on a crappy lcd by far
Doc, you can't say it was consol gamers trolling it was your own Xbox, community people salty to you left console. Playstation and Nintendo can't play Hellblade, they don't care. When it comes to play station, it'll probably come at 60fps
Doc if you stick on the PC long enough though you will eventually want to upgrade. If you ever want to upgrade your GPU come and talk to me and we can figure something out for you. Just have a PO box ready.
man I'm glad you got your setting together i downloaded the game last night and got over 90 fps on a RTX 3060 12 GB bro at 1440p using DLSS and ultra performance and medium setting and it looks amazing and plus ignore theses console fanboy there just salty that there caped and PC is NOT. stay blessed doc 😀
Put fsr 3 to quality or balanced to get a cleaner image, or switch your resolution to 1440p or 4k while using fsr 3 performance, since your tv is 60hz only having higher frame's per second above that frequency won't make any difference to your experience you won't feel it at all.
The app thing using Vram i didnt know about. Good to know. I really dont use my pc for other than gaming so thats probably why. But know i know.Also i have a 7900xt so Vram issues doesn't effect me. I will say usually the PC crowd are a good bunch, like anything you have the gate gaurds and the elitest but the the majority are a good bunch and help each other out.
I have both systems, an Xbox Series X (Didn't played it on 30FPS) and PC (RTX4080+Ryzen 97950X) at 1440P 120FPS without hiccups or issues. This game looks amazing and runs perfectly fine on PC. On XSX, its capped at 30FPS but it looks great. I just couldn't played it as a Slideshow...😂
PC is not for gaming , its for tinkering. Borrowed my friend's pc for couple of days. Spent 6h tinkering game setting on his 3060 and played 30min. 😂 Managed to get 120fps on Cyberpunk. Max settings 1080p + frame gen. On 4k tv 120hz. Still looks good. Might buy a Pc for $2000 ,depends how good PS5pro will be. Tinkering on Pc was more fun than playing 😂
thats the thing, more games, pc is more customisable, can do more on pc, and the ability to play games from every platform as well as emulation. dont think ill go back to console.

Lol. So this is what you keep doing gaming on pc. You tweak settings for every game. 5, 10 or 15 minutes later you tweak. Nah, I'm not ready for pc gaming.
Nice, like I was saying it was that pesky vram. Now if it were me, I'd get some resolution back maybe using balanced or something. Performance at 1080p is pretty low resolution.
The intro sequence is more demanding.of course if you go to a dark area with less objects you should be getting more frames. Face it Doc you made the best Series S commercial $799 CPU cinematic drops to 10 FPS in HB2 Or $250 for a Series S more consistent @ 30 fps experience.
NO just NO. the series S is 4 year old hardware at this point, series s will be consistent because it probably uses dlss and all the trickery to get it there, I could run this just as well if not better on an rtx 2070. no 799 cpu will fail to run this.
@@deeplaysgaming4754 Maybe you're not aware but in one of Doc's previous videos running Hellblade 2 on his PC The intro sequence on the boat Dropped to 10 FPS. All the frame time analysis I've seen have the series S is running the HB2 at a consistent 30 fps with minor 1 or 2 frame drops every now and then. Docs is just getting a tiny roast from his console audience cause he complained about console being locked to 30.. then got a PC to then have the cinematics be a stuttering mess. Obviously he'll work it out but the contrast on easy it is on Console was highlighted. If you don't mind the setting tweaks PC is the best no question. I think most console players know that. But getting to play this graphical show case on a $250-300 console is impressive. To each their own.
@@MarioPlum-lp6cu Console owners dont know about settings, it probably defaulted to a setting that was bad causing the performance hit, us pc owners know that he could get better results one he tinkered. NO way a 4 year old budget console is beating even a mid range gpu from today.

But even I can tell the previous video did highlight the value and ease of use of a console for gamers who prefer that option.(from the perspective of a console only player / from the perspective of PC gamers we know the settings can be adjusted. ) Like I said to each their own.
@@MarioPlum-lp6cu Pc can be upgraded, series s whilst great value is struggling with newer games yes for a casual who doesnt care abut frames thats fine, but the perfromance isnt n "advertisement" for series s at all, i camr from th 360 then the xbox one, now im pc and probably staying there, not much point getting a console when i can spend the same on a GPU (can gett 2 2080 for 200) that will be on par if not better than series x.

Every gamers knows that PC is better but console gamers for some reason hate on pc gamers , I have a friend who can't stand me gaming on pc says Xbox is better but I have 250fps in games he has 30😂
Also if you have Instant replay please disable it! It uses almost 2gb of VRAM in the background, so does recording in general!! If you have these disabled don’t worry, AMD has bad video compression/codecs & encoders but it is improving over time! Same with openGL support

dont use FSR 3 on performance for 1080p you should aim to quality or native resolution low the graphics.

I just think that you made a great move by going cheap with your first gaming PC but in that same move you kind of got a rig that is ok for now for the most part but for the future it just won't hang. Here's the good news you can sell your card because someone will always use those cards. Use that money and go for the 7800XT it has 16 gigs of ram and will serve you better. If you have more money the 7900 gre is a good card. Then you need to check your power supply to make sure it can handle a bigger card . I wouls imagine you have like a 600 watt . You can upgrade your PC easily so it will do you just fine into the next gen.
The thing is bottlenecking could also be an issue so if he has a ryzen cpu on an am4 mobo he would then have to upgrade his mobo to am5 if he wants to get the best ryzen cpu to pair with a 7800xt or 7900 gre
If he has the power supply, he can get a 7900xt for about $670 right now. I spent $700 on mine, love it! AMD adrenaline software is also so noob friendly, it's fantastic stuff.
@@sleezy2953 I didn't think of that I thought he had a 7600 AM5. I don't know why i assumed that but yeah he may have a problem with that because then you are in the territory of spending more than what you paid for the rig because you need new memory too.

I beat it on a 3090 at 1440, gorgeous! I just started it again today on my Series S and I am amazed what that $299 box can do. Why are people complaining???
I'm probably always going to be limited on PC due to the fact that I don't want to spend over $1000.00 for any PC. For my current weakling PC FSR2 and FSR3 Quality has helped alot in many games. What fps would you get at 1440p?

times have change because back in the earlier 2000's PC users were the "master race" and looked down on people that couldn't afford gaming PC and only had consoles... there is even a high archery within the PC community it's self high end vs mid range PC's .... we're men and we can be competitive and kinda toxic for sure lmaooo

@@5izzy557 he should cop a nvidia GPU when ever he decides to upgrade the DLSS is worth it. AMD has good pricing but they usually have more driver issues and a lack of DLSS means you will have to upgrade sooner.
@user-dq5pm1nk2h You explained it perfectly "dynamic" if he wanted he could choose the output resolution to 4k and use performance FRS to upscale from 1080p. Guess what else does this type of thing? The consoles :-) although with them, you get closer to the die so easier to use dynamic res from my understanding, but many pc title do include it.
the gpu in your PC is roughly the same performance as the gpu within the series X..... and your cpu is much stronger than the X. Literally mess around with settings a bit and just dont go over vram limit
Doc like I said the PC community is very helpful just ask and someone will jump at the chance to help you out. You can see that now or at least it sounds like you do. Console gamers just want to see PC fail that's why they are doing that. They just wanted to feel like their console got a W when the reality is that's not going to happen.
I play aaa games at my low end gaming laptop, try to use it on 4k tv and its seen 8gb vram is enough for high setting. maybe some games was demanding while some not. 🤔

Now that I'm a full-fledged PC, it blows my mind how negative console ppl are while using a far inferior product to play their games. Even your 7600 kicks a PS5's ass. My 7900xt is blowing my mind, and I'm only 6 weeks into full-time PC. My Series X is basically a paperweight at this point. I only used it recently to play The Show with my father (he likes baseball) when he came over. Think a lot of it has to do with they have no idea how under powered the console really is. Sony has the brass hangers to write "8k" on their box, lol.
PC is paperweight for most games that casuals play. I switched back to Xbox for MP since PC has become rampant with cheaters online, especially in FTP games.
Those telling you they running hellblade 2 at a “smooth” 30 frames on xsx are lying to you. Play where you want when you want how you want. Personally I choose to play on console even though I have a pc that I can also play on (it’s my civ/aoe machine, and the kind). It’s also where I write my reports.
@@bosskey23i find it hard to believe you have a 4090 pc and decided to play on console at a locked 30fps the only way id believe you rather play on console is due to having a low refresh rate monitor not being able to see past 30 fps
The game is supposed to look like a movie. Movies are 24 fps. You should not use more than 30 for this game. Not unless you like watching movies with the soap opera effect on as well. It just makes it look fake.

Oop. I stand wrong lol. Well I did offer an update drivers and restart but it doesn't seem to be the launcher as the issue. Good to see. Internally 1080p in FSR Performance mode is 540p btw. I don't think you have to go that low to get a stable 60fps on that card. You were above 90 there but iirc your TV doesn't support higher than 60hz. Well, enjoy the game though sir. 🫡
