Same here. With this vampire bite, it doesn't take long for one to turn into the undead. With Jacob it only took maybe an hour or less cause he was bit in the arm same as Sex Machine. When Frost got bit, it only took maybe seconds, but with the rest of those bikers and truckers..they were completely drained of blood and died then came back in minutes.

Sex Machine's transformation is done in a kind of comedic manner, especially the reaction where he puts his transformed hands behind his back. They did this in the Wallace and Gromit movie with one of Wallace's transformations into a wererabbit as well.

This is a great movie somehow. It went from a classic bad guy story. You really love/hate the Gecko brothers. You really feel trapped along side with the family. And then it went to a cool bar scenario to a vampire slaying movie. Then it ends with everyone going back to their normal lives as if nothing happened. No one really learned anything. They just live another day.

Imperialx Warlord He wrote the whole part up to the bar. 1st part is all dark like when he brutally rapes and kills the woman (hostage) from the bank for no apparent reason because he is a psycho. He also kills that Texas Ranger in the gas station because he claimed the store owner mouthed "help" to him although he clearly didnt. And if you notice, there is a ton of talking taking place in the 1st half which is something that goes on in his movies (which is good. You're never bored while watching any of his movies). AND FINALLY..... I read it in 'Maxim' magazine a couple of years ago while I was sitting on the toilet.

Imperialx Warlord yea, all up to the bar. The other guy that wrote the second half isn't some slouch either. I just forget his name. Next time you watch it you will notice. After I read that it was on HBO or something 1 night and I could obviously tell. But, if I didn't read that I would have had no idea. It's just pretty fucked up all the way to the bar. I don't know what is more disturbing. Raping and killing an innocent bank teller who just wants to get back to her family, him constantly thinking that the preacher's daughter asked him to go down on her, and killing that cop for no reason then shooting all of those bottles above the store owner & burning him alive...... or evil, demonic blood sucking vampires.

I tell this story often. I met Tom Savini some years ago and it was one of the greatest days ever. I was working in a small collectibles store and he stopped in. I made eye contact, yet did not go fanboy. He would return an hour later and was gracious enough to allow me a photo op. The bonus was when he signed a very cool Day of the Dead figure. My boss let me keep it for free. Years later I saw him at a Comic-con in Philadelphia and he remembered me. I have met one of my idols and never forgot that day. The photo and figure are prominently displayed in my den along with several autographed phots.

Some trivia: Originally Richie, Sex Machine, Frost, Jacob and Scott were all supposed to make it out alive. But Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino changed the script at the last min and made it just Kate and Seth as the only two survivors from The Titty Twister.

I think for a sequel, it would have been better that way but there would have been less emotion in that ending. Better overall cause the sequels that were made were terrible but they would have been better off. Hard to say but you might have been able to get Fred and savini to come back. 🤷 I like the possibilities those survivors would open up.

Fun fact: where Seth is going is actually worse. “El Ray” (The King) is a place where criminals go that are too hot to stay in the states or anywhere else for that matter. You can’t work there nor can you leave so as soon as you run out of money you’re banished to an outlying village with just the clothes on your back where you must cannibalize each other to survive. So unless you have a 100 million, you basically descend into madness while waiting for your inevitable horrible death. Seth is on his way to literal hell, why not run into vampires along the way.

At least he was able to do something positive with what must have been things that a lot of people would never recover from.
