I can't believe polls have Harris polling so low in Wisconsin. Just based on the recent August 13th Partisan Primary, Dems really turned out to vote on the constitutional amendments that were sneakily added to the ballots. For the General Presidential election? The turnout will only be higher. Dems in WI are fired up but Repubs here are much less so. I think they wanted a new candidate. Wisconsin Rs are very different than Rs in the southern states.

That's the thing with polls in 2024. Special elections, primaries, exit polls, registration and fund raising are all better data points. But yes, everyone get out the vote!

I remember listening to Rush Limbaugh in the lead up to the 2012 election when all polls were pointing to Mitt Romney going down in flames and the man kept saying "pay no attention to the polls! you don't need to be worried! I'll tell you when you need to be worried!" aaaaaaand 332 to 206.

Aliens! That will be the October Surprise. That’s what Elon Musk is going to provide. The aliens will shuttle down on a Space X platform with a special enclosure that allows them to breathe their Methane/Sulfur atmosphere. Trump will make RFK Jr. Special Envoy to their home world.
