Dr Phil Buckley is a Senior Lecturer in Ecology at Canterbury Christ Church University, with 16 years experience of lecturing at undergraduate level.
After completing his PhD in freshwater invasive species, Phil went on to work on many aspects of freshwater, marine and coastal ecosystems, with a secondary interest in terrestrial mammals, particularly hazel dormice.
Phil heads up the Ecology Research Group and Ecology undergraduate programme at the University.
Phil once took his then girlfriend now wife out to sample mud-dwelling river crustaceans in a rickety boat for their first date
