Parry only works well with single hit attacks, but for things like blast spam or multiple explosion, you can parry when they start hitting you to take no damage for about 0.4 second of the hits, then the rest will just be blocked. It’s better to dodge though

btw the hundi quest counts as 2 quests tips for elius: 1. try to glitch him in the ground. he wont move even if the ground is destroyed. 2. get over lvl 60 (if you are not pro) or get a friend. 3. either use guns or fast magic blasts. 4. elius can only jump 2 times in a row so try to hit him at the second jump. 5. if he is using his arrow rain dash towards him and do as much melee dmg as possible tips for general argos: 1. get him behind the wall in the room and kill him with long range mage blasts 2. if hes in 1st phase then you can be medium to close range combat 3. if he is 2nd phase mid range combat 4. if he is 3rd phase then only long range 5. if you are escaping then go to the left from the room then right then right again and in the corridor there will be a hold that you can go through. also the timer will count down to zero even if you already escaped but you just have to wait and you beat general argos. and finnaly king calvus tips: 1. to heal you can go out of the room but dont go too far away and dont be there for long cause he will despawn or heal if you do. 2. if you see a light, flat circle above him, then hit him asap and dashh towards him or parry. if you dash land another hit. 3. if he is charging a big ball then hit him and dash to the right or left. 4. when he is flinging alot of light (aether) balls towards you, run to the right or left and when he dashes towards you just parry or get out. he will do a kick that will send you flying but the dmg is close range and knockback only is mid range. 5. when you enter the room the use a blast or a flying slash or a throw. 6. before the fight get good gear (good armor like iron or carina armor) and if you are conjurer or warrior or knight or warlord then get sanguine, silent blades or commorde kai's saber (saber is from commorde kai at the marine base aka silverhold aka marineford, both sanguine and silent blades are from architect merlot at the assasin hideout aka white summit aka pirate hideout {both bosses are really hard btw} and the drops are 10% each). you can also get ravenna greatsword or metal bo staff. 7. the slash attack of silent blades is mid range. 8. the throw of sanguine is long range 9. and the flying slash of commorde kai's saber is also long range. 10. also grabs dont work on bosses. and thats all the tips i had to share with you. have a good time playing arcane odyssey! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nvm I maxed a conjurer slot and it pisses me off how the dmg on imbued weapons is nonexistent i use my magic often but my damage with lightning just isnt high enough @Axyl I didnt realize conjurers got hoed this bad I originally called you dumb for not using your magic since I usually dont play WoM styled games but goddamn conjurers need more damage. With the exception of magma conj their damage is fine

Weapon main is really strong but your gonna need wooden staff and decent or really good aim with it on u can get the drop from lord Ellis bur he is really strong I don't even have a drop from him
I been paying this game lately it's a banger game.. I'm using shadow but I'm not feeling it too much might use a new slot I barely use magic I have like 6 sp in it
I also just want to add that the skills you unlock on guns (especially musket) do crazy amounts of damage even with the non-special bullets. Managed to do 311 damage with a fully charged musket shot and a golden bullet. Not to mention I run poison which does the least amount of base damage in the game. The grab on the musket is also really cool looking and is funnily enough one of the most damaging grabs in the game atm
I’m not sure what is better but people usually put 130 in weapon and 120 in magic for conjurer. And yes, you need to be a conjurer to see the element on your weapon. Conjurer = at least 40 % of your points in magic and at least 40% in weapon.

Life is going great, of course its hard following the Lord but he delivered me from video games and alcohol and we're working on smoking.
