I guess you can say this is the best of both worlds... though "best" would probably be a bit too generous! Regardless, I wanted to try and hit the sound for a change of pace, and managed to get a few nice fish! The south shore, while finicky at first... was stacked as usual !

Nice Greg! Yeah, there should be some really good fluke action around there this time of year! My schedule is pretty tight this next week or so, but once July hits I’ll be fishing a lot more! Hope to see you out there!

That red can holds manta shrimp. When there around fluke stick around. Same with the stepping stone light house.

Nice, we had a few (2-3) 16 inch or so fluke a little north of that spot Sunday am - seems like there are more fluke in area this summer

I don't know how you just do it... you're a champion💪, I fished on Sunday between bridges... 6 hours and I only caught 2 fish 😅 Something is wrong with me 😂 great video 😍🔥👏

Thanks! Yeah, I suppose I was partially in the right place at the right time! There were certainly some stretches where I was struggling to find any fish! Glad you’re still going after them!

How important is your fish finder to you. Does it help you a lot?

Great question! Honestly, when I first got my hobie, I didn’t have a fish finder. However, after some time, I purchased one. It’s a huge help, especially for fluke fishing! When the bite is localized, sometimes your best bet is to hit the same price of bottom again and again. Or better yet, it’s really helpful if you’re trying to target very localized structure!
