I'm glad that the young boy showed his parents, Kate and her husband, that how they treated his grandfather (Kate's husband's father and Kate's father-in-law) was wrong 😉 The parents finally realized the error of their ways and learned to respect the grandfather and help him thank to his loving grandson 😊
This reminds me of a similar story about how the husband’s dad went to their house to live with them. Forgot why. The husband made his dad sleep in the garage for a while, when one day, the family was eating dinner. The grandson, who was eating, looked to his grandpa, and politely told him to please keep the garage clean. When the grandfather asked why, the boy answers with this; “Because when I grow up, and this house becomes mine, that’s where I want to put my dad in when he gets old.” And that made everyone’s jaw drop. Everyone was shocked, mostly the husband, and he realized his mistake. In the end, he apologized, and gave his father the spare bedroom. And the whole family lived together in peace. Like the phrase, ‘Monkey see, monkey do’.
That was a very quick story and I do feel sorry for that poor old man 👴as he's struggling to eat his food without making a mess since he can't handle himself anymore. His son and daughter-in-law should be very a shame of themselves for how they have treated him because someday when they get old 👴👵and just like him they will struggle too.
Treat your elders with respect. Some have a hard time when their body does not cooperate. Making them feel bad doesn't promote love for them in their remaining years. So glad they got the point.😊
