I've watched a few others review/demo this plug in. You're the only one that seems to know how to really dig in and make this sound like it was intended. Everyone else seems at a bit of a loss. I'm thinking it has to do with musical tastes and backgrounds, cause this is the most proper demo I've seen. Well done sir!

Something I didn't get and I hope someone can help me understand - STL has modelled the... live rig of Wes Borland... he uses when... touring Europe? First, is this assumption correct? Second, if correct, why not model his studio rig? Awesome demo, btw!

It’s a mix of the two, he used the selmer amp on chocolate starfish, but its not in his live rig at all. one of the cabinets was used on the unquestionable truth along with the vh4. his pedalboard is used live and in the studio as well.

Yes correct, in the US he uses an old Mesa 4x12/EVH 4x12 paired with an EVH 2x12, EVH Heads with the Diezel, for clean aswell the JC120, so it's not that different. Pedalboard and some Guitars they take over back and forth. He used too much different stuff over the years, especially in the studio but the constant, on almost all except the last one (even Black Light Burns and Eat The Day), where the Diezel (sometimes paired with other amps), the vintage Selmer Zodiac Twin and JC120. So you basically get the base of THE sounds. The Selmer Zodiac he used was an Mk1, the one in the plugin looks like and is probably modeled after an mk2, but I have no idea what the big difference there is. These are also too fragile to tour with...the JC120 meanwhile is built like a tank.

@@mesatokun I actually shot it for real on miniDV tape, but funny enough it still didn’t look as janky as I’d hoped so I added Davinci Resolve’s Analog Damage plugin on top of it
