I'd prefer travelling by bus; but only after I would have ridden the Shinkansen many times. I'd enjoy the scenery more for sure if I took the bus. My absolute favourite would be to drive however, but I don't think my heart would be ready for traffic in Tokyo and other big cities 😂
That view of Mt. Fuji was incredible! The countryside was simply amazing. I'd like to see more of the rural areas in Japan if you can possibly film them. Thanks for sharing.
The city I grew up in in NZ (New Plymouth) is where Mt Taranaki, the sibling mountain to Mt Fuji is. It's where they filmed The Last Samurai with Ken Watanabe, Hiroyuke Sanada and Tom Cruise because the mountain is so similar in shape they didn't have to do too much editing for when it was in shot. Seeing Mt Fuji in this video made me realise just how similar in shape they are!
With views like these, I'd definitely like to give this a try one day - the view of Mount Fuji from the motorway and at the service station is fantastic!

Mt. Fuji is definitely beautiful, but I ain't going near that place if it's been rumored that volcano may explode at some point in the future. If there's one disaster that I sure don't want to be near, more than earthquakes and hurricanes combine, is volcanic eruptions, and literally all of the lava and ash coming down the mountain and covering the entire landscape in earth, mud, tar, and lava just waiting to burn your body into ashes....Hopefully it doesn't explode at some point in the future, but who knows.

My girlfriend and I are really now not only wanting to see places in Japan, but she now has a dream of moving there (Kyoto!) and studying arts and culture, so she is now not only teaching me how to read, but also helping me learn JSL (I am deaf!) and what's polite and not etc so I am ready to go with her when she starts to make her dreams come true!

I didn't know there is a place called Toyota where all my cars have been made.....I won't have any other make of car than a Toyota, as they are the best! I'm not sure if here in my country I can travel in a two decked bus (I live in Spain) but three weeks ago I traveled from Milano to Rome in HS train and the return was in that bus and was so great and not very expensive... Yes, the confort on board was great, with reclining seats and extra space in the same row and a big bathroom too. Just miss the leg rest (here in Europe is called ottoman seat, dunno why) like can be on a _Toyota _*_Alphard_* or in the premium train services, but the route was so amazing and maybe will repeat the next time.

This would have been perfect if you just uploaded the whole, uninterrupted, journey. Other than bathroom breaks, of course. Put the camera on a tripod and record the whole journey. Doing it in the rain, with a good mic, would make you legendary.
