If I ask my hairdresser for a trim she literally barely touches it with the scissors! I have to specify I want about a cm off to get the dry ends gone! She's great, she really listens to what you want and does it for you! :)

+Beth Cooper first un-color it once than, use a ASH blonde because of its green pigments (it deppend on how red your hair is..) I went from dark red-brown to blonde like this, worked for me. :)

Ironically I started following Mykie a few months ago and now she is here. My god her hair is GORGEOUS. I don't think I have ever been so jealous of someone's hair color before. Like deep green ugly jealous. The 8 colors were just perfect together and how you laid the color....AH-MAZING

Bigpaw Craig haha I know a girl who didn't want her hair color to wash out so she didn't ever wash her hair. It was so greasy. She didn't even use dry shampoo and it smelled awful. Sure there are ways to go without washing too often, but she didn't take care of it at all.

I haven't been subscribed to her but I feel like she had a lot of colors and black box dye on her hair and then tried to bleach it out. Semi permanent colors don't damage but box dyes do. I have dark/black hair and I used to put like jet black box dye on it and when I did root touch ups I would out it on parts that I've already dyed xP do not ever do what I did. I bleached it like 3 times, once with 40 vol. and twice with 30 vol. ugh my hair literally felt like straw. Worse than Mykie's. And that year I had just gotten rid of my heat damaged hair. T^T

The Corner of Craft The short answer is I bleached it way too many times in a short period in a desperate attempt to get a color out of it. The second part to the short answer is I used a color remover a couple times on my hair the night beforehand (it was almost black) so that made it EXTRA dry that day. But it was still pretty dang damaged. I was shocked at how silky it got from one treatment of that magical potion he put on my head.

yea but you can colour your hair (when it is already blonde naturally) without fucking bleaching it every time??? she would have been so blessed with her naturally blonde hair if she wanted to colour it..i dont get why she bleached it every time.. doesnt colour wash out really quick anyway?? i used to have pink hair and after like 12 washes all the pink was gone

Hi. Uh. I'm a natural blonde. And my input is... You just get so sick of it. Sure. Blonde is great. But you just hey so sick of it. The same way I'd kill for naturally dark hair. Plus. Blonde hair is amazingly easy to get colour into. 😄

+Rebe cat moreau she probably means mostly bleaching it but you still shouldn't dye it that much anyways unless you use ammonia free dye. Your hair will be fine for now I made the same mistake my hair was healthy for the longest time but after over a year of dying it my ends break off and it's so damaged.

If you leave Olaplex 3 in your hair more than 10 minutes you will get much better results. I leave mine in for half an hour before rinsing and washing my hair. Her hair looks so awesome at the end of the video. 😍 I’m glad he gave her a hair cut trim. Honestly this is the best video to show how well Olaplex 1 and 2 repairs extremely damaged hair!!! 😍

It's makeup, she doesn't have eyebrows (intentionally) because she wore so many coloured wigs she found it easier to match her eyebrows if she just painted them on :)

Omg....where do i get that magical product, my mum's hair is totally fried because she use to bleach it herself for 8 years and then she had a perming accident on her wedding day and her hair was falling out in clumps, her hair never fully repaired after that and she had self esteem issues...later she had a brazillian blow out and her hair became like steel wool....the reversal made it worse....later she went for permanent bonding and her hair looked amazing but when she went for a touch up the idiots used a product for virgin hair on her head and her hair was worse than steel wool and still isnt coming right after 3 years of oil treatments and salon visits...can you please help me help her with this amazing product or something else that might work on her hair...it would mean the world to her

She's not actually balding it's just because she bleached her hair so much it grows in blond(she use to be a natural strawberry blond/red head) and it's so light it looks like she's balding. She's explained it in videos

I had the same problem, they burned my complete hair down. after that my hair was chinlong at the front and about 5 centimetres long at the back, absolutely burned down to the sculp at the top and its colour was peachy-salmon, before it was a beautiful, healthy brown-red... terrible!! I still had to pay 40€ (instead of 100€) and it took me 3 years to grow that shit out. :((

He's incredibly talented, but he can be quite rude. Yes, she did call her hair 'pubes' first, but you could see she was visibly uncomfortable every time he repeated it, especially when he started talking about his own pubic hair. It's okay to joke and talk about how you messed up, but if it's going on the internet, be mindful of who you're talking about.

How? I did not see any bit of uncomfortability, she also didn't stop with the convo of her damaged hair. He also has to make it known there was a bad decision made and a way to fix the bad decision. It isn't like it affects him so it isn't to be mean, it's because he cares and wants her to make healthy decisions to keep her hair healthy. Two, the video wasn't live... Clearly she is okay with it because there was time to talk about if there was an issue before he edited and uploaded. She would have also told him to stop, but as I mentioned before, she continued talking about her damaged hair...she is obviously comfortable talking about it...she decided to do a video over it. They are friends and can joke, I don't see why there is such an issue over the joking when she isn't even upset.

+Jessica Liu This happened so much to me when i was younger which is one of the reasons i trained to be a professional stylist. I can advise my clients what NEEDS to be trimmed/cut off, but in the end it is them who chooses , their hair therefore their choice! Even after nearly 30 years as a colour and cutting technician i still love my job as much as ever and my clients being happy is a huge part of that. Simple really!! I love Guy's videos and tutorials, they give me a kick up the arse when i get into little 'safe' stages of colouring and make me go try something new and funky again. Shop around for stylists, us caring ones are still out there :) Love and ( hi) light (s) xxx

+PersephoneArt19 Right there with you! I went to the stylist I've been going to once or twice a year for the last 3 years, and she told me we needed to get rid of some split ends. I'm like fine, but then we need the hair thinned and put into long layers. This woman took my hair from nearly at my WAIST to the tops of my shoulders, and now I look like Dora the Explorer - my hair it poofy and now impossible to keep untangled. I'm so mad and while I understand that she did what I asked - she thinned it FIRST and THEN put in the long layers - I couldn't help it, I came home and bawled. It took me three years to grow my hair to that length before this nonsense, and so I'm now very very wary of going to a stylist.

They're good friends in real life who are comfortable joking around about each other. She also has her own video where she refers to her own hair as pubes first. She knew how bad it was was, after all she hid her hair for a year under wigs.
