I'm going to be honest. I don't know what the hell is going on. I think the writers are misdirecting us. Last season people were saying that the kimono lady was Fatima bc she was wearing a shirt that looked similar but we see this lady is wearing a full kimono. We have people saying Fatima has a demon baby in her and we find out she is not pregnant at all. My friend is still looking for a giant spider.
There were answers sprinkled here and there about character motivations and certain entities pulling the strings behind the scene. We know that those things can be killed, we learned that there's a way to go back home we learned that that place feeds on hopelessness there's a lot we learned from questions being asked but for people with low IQ I guess unless you spill it out in clear open then it must have never happened.
@@M0Xi0Are you being serious? There are a thousand unanswered questions and all we barely know is that the monsters can be killed and there's a way back home and this could all be a simulation?? No matter how interesting the show is , people lose interest if the mysteries keep piling up , without any solid answers...The writes simply wasted the whole of second season by unnecessarily dragging things and many of the episodes inS2 just felt like fillers...And the third season is almost over with another pile of questions....I heard that the last two episodes of this season are going to be where at least some of the mysteries will be unveiled...If it's true , then great... Otherwise this is just going to be another series like Lost...
@@M0Xi0we knew that they could be killed, how are they gonna do that again? Idk what you meant about answers of character motivations, and about entities pulling strings…we know that there are entities pulling strings, but nothing beyond that. Nobody wants it spelled out to them, but the story has barely progressed since s1.
I agree, but wish we did see more of them, Boyd literally killed one and they kind of did nothing from it. Same with earlier in S3 them saying they wanted to catch one and it kind of just died out
It's the character drama as well. A good mystery box show mixes in monsters horror drama and even sprinkle some character study and romance. Hopefully they got a story planned and not making up stuff as you go.
This show is executed extremely well despite not giving many answers. I started watching the show “teacup” because ppl said it’s like From and where I could see some similarities it just does a poor job keeping me entertained and the show tries to be too clever for its own good. While 3 seasons in and no answers I’m still glued to From and that says a lot about the writing and acting
I really appreciate that the show acknowledged some of them criticism and people are talking to each other about the stuff they see and teaming up to solve the mystery this season
I am thoroughly annoyed that all these factions go off by themselves; Elgin, Jade (now he has the trio of goofs with him), Julie and Randall, etc. Can't anyone talk things out and come to a consensus? Didn't they used to have town meetings or whatever to discuss things (before the town got all pitchforky and blamey)? I hope Marielle doesn't get caught up in Julie and Randall's stuff - regardless if she is suppressing what happened or not - nothing good can come from their childish adventures. Hello, From WANTS you to go off and fracture and get screwed up. People were complaining about Henry being vocal and scared in the cave. Wouldn't you be? I might cover my mouth to not make noise, but the guy just got here and he is being thrown into something impossible and scary af. Everyone acts like the people on the show should feel like these are normal events and act accordingly. On a sidenote, Victor and Henry should interrogate Jasper. Smack him around a bit. That wood pulp needs to give up the information - NOW! heheh
@@aysh444 Well to be fair, he is pretty tired - kid hasn't slept and is traumatized by drowning lady. hehehe Fatima and Ellis are the most annoying - not to mention family of dysfunction (Tabitha/Jim/Ethan/Julie). hehe
This series gives me major LOST vibes - after numerous seasons, suddenly... Season finale or an ending that's not so cool. Oh well, seems like history might repeat itself with this one too.
i think there’s also some kind of mental manipulation here as well as the general lack of human awareness we all have. it’s strange that this is a criticism of the show but i think there’s some kind of “idiot box” around sort of the way we all watch tv, get effected by it and tell no one. or worse young girls and social media. as beautiful as you could imagine but then up and commit suicide because they’re not confirmed the way they think they should be. again, it fascinates me that lack of communication is a criticism of the show. think of the ways in your own life you simply refuse to tell others how you feel or what is really going on in your life. now tell us why? we all know it’s “because”. great show though…
Same with the drowned woman with the kimono. When the bus arrives and Elgin goes to the place where they go to swim, he was very uneasy about that place. Most likely that woman died there.
My theory is that the “Ankooey” children need to select a “mother” from the outside world to protect them. Each time the mother figure fails, the cycle resets. I also think the ghost of Tom is evil and just trying to throw Jade off his track. When people do drugs in this show they seem to think more clearly and get closer to answers. (Jade and his drinking, Miranda dropping acid, Julie smoking pot). The point of bringing Henry back was to give victor support while he starts to remember things. I think he knows way more than he’s saying. He knows the tunnels well and the monsters had His mom’s scarf. He said “they take things sometimes” maybe meaning they have his mother and he’s been visiting.
I also think that Fatima was never pregnant and the evil entity in the town just wants her to suffer after having hope. I don’t think she’s turning into a monster either. It wants her to think she’s the reason the baby’s dead or never existed. Prolonging her suffering.
I keep wondering how could a mother take her kids to such place she could have left them with Henry unless she was running away from him. He seems off specially the scene of the car he seemed aware of this little car
Its a reach....a far reach to say they have Miranda. Saying they take things in no way means they took her. They could've but she'd be a dead rotting corpse by then anyways cuz its been 40 years.
I think the town they’re stuck in is cursed battleground of some sort. The two trees that are there are the same as the ones that were in the “real world” when Tabitha was out. They’re stuck in like a multiple stacked dimension area. That’s why the monsters are all dressed from years ago. And I feel Tabitha is actually Victors sister and her dreams are just repressed memories. Everyone that is stuck there is actually ancestors of the fallen people that died on that land. They’re stuck in the past and present and the same time.
I remember seeing an interview a while back about the upcoming season 3 and the cast said we would get some answers this season… I really hope they give us something in these last two episodes since we haven’t really gotten any yet!
@@iddqa and all their instagram interviews they all said there would be answers this season but also the leaks if they are actually true makes it the last season 🥴😞🫣
I'm almost convinced now this is some type of weird multi person dream where the individuals nightmares have an actual effect of what happens in the town.
the bracelet made from shoe lace that was gifted, we saw it in the storage room and tabitha didnt know how it ended up there but it might be something to do with time travelling.
@@Aged_Whiskey yeah I think that to and one thing is that something is contacting or knows about what is happing in the place as we have seen in while the radio set up and then phone ringing what it might be
We still have no answer for most of the questions and nothing makes sense. Everything we know is that this place is magical. They heal faster (remember Ethan's leg, that can't be healed so fast without proper treatment). So the place wants them alive at the limit of survival, living in fear and anger. The music box makes no sense, the "blood prisoner" from the cave makes no sense, and the teleporter tree makes no sense. I still feel that Tillie has a lot of answers She knows something about magic
Answers are coming. They've given us enough clues that we can piece together what's happening. But still don't know what the monsters want and how to get out. Mystery shows are best teased out as the big reveal is always disappointing.
@@jonfreeman9682 and the monster somehow gets the whole info about the situation like they knew when Tabitha was coming in ambulance as Randell said the monster followed a pattern every night but that night it was different
If they all go back in time like Lost that would be insane. We already have "rules" and "numbers" "climbing up high for a radio tower in the rain" and both in an inescapable place. I'm guessing all the child sacrificing and blood drinking and number vibrations opened a rift to another dimension where the entity lived. Now he is collecting souls. From is a mythology about two worlds, the reality and the fantasy, or the mirrorverse. The key takeaway is that fantasy underpins reality, like the meaning of the mobious strip.
Not sure if there's time travel but this pocket dimension has been around a long time as there's civil war soldiers and first nations kids from Columbus days. So there's been many victims some turning into 👻 giving pointers and survival tips.
Are we not gonna talk about how the weather seems to be changing very rapidly? I think the town is devolving the evil is gonna get out into the real world. The town is there to keep the evil locked in.
@Ready4Raw it was already changing before she left. She was always meant to return. The boy in white sent her to get Henry for some reason...which I think was to give Victor hope to keep living.
@@jimmybillz5923 right on the money it was to give henry hope to keep pushing through and prevent the repressed spirit or entity from escaping or exterminating it, That or its trying to make it more fun by giving henry hope to keep playing his twisted game.
I bet you at the end of this season (with how this season is developing right now) we will be left with yet another cliff hanger thats not gonna explain shit but just add more mysteries. We will soon be 3 seasons deep with nothing to show for. I loved the first 2 seasons, but getting bored at a fast pace.
Tabitha is NOT my favorite character. EVERY SINGLE TIME she wants to get her point across (the ONLY RIGHT POINT to her), she is louder than anybody else, raises her chin in a very pretentious manner, and pushes her superiority. Kenny, Jade, and Boyd are my favorite characters.
This show really tests your patience. Season 1 was great, Season 2 was okay, still nothing answered but more questions being made. Season 3... Still no answers and STILL more questions being created. I'm just happy they are FINALLY finding some breadcrumbs to work with
Being 3 seasons in and STILL not knowing much about the monsters or the town itself is crazy to me. They are drip feeding us info a little too slow in my opinion. I love this show but they really gotta give us more answers without making us ask 10 more!
All I ask(reminder..I love the show, been watching since very first episode) is by seasons end we have at least - thing answered…PLEASE!!!! Because I can only imagine how many more questions will be raised.
I think the and the place and trees are a sort of pocket dimension thing like what Jade was saying. Also I've heard the creators said this season would be "the end of the beginning", I'm wondering if somehow this season will reveal something big about the place or one of these layers to it and move on from the town with new stuff. like Martin in season 2 said how the town was only "the tip of the spear."
Someone plz tell me where tf was Boyd this whole episode/season…Jade’s locked himself up in a room trying to piece together this puzzle with the clues he finds “himself” bc he’s gained little knowledge from the townspeople. Boyd started the season with saying he was gonna get answers. He was gonna capture a monster. He hasn’t made it past the initial idea…thanks for giving us false hope. We would have been better off if he didn’t say it. Thats just one example of how the show trolls us
The entity put road blocks and constant other objective's for boyd to forget about the plan he iniated just the other night, it has basically been a day since the ambulance arrived. He will probably continue once hes situation calms down or someone reminds him.
And remember how Boyd says to daana that the monsters could have been humans at some point of time so I think it might help him to kill the monster but what could be the monster weaknesses we don't know nothing yet and they don't show up at sunlight does that mean that they can't endure sun or they will also come out during daytime in futures
Sorry but you found the last couple eps to be "filler"? We might have very different definitions of that word. You didn't feel the story moved forward at all? Not saying answers, but progression. Just curious.
@manicmentacide Outside of the last 5 minutes no, it's far too long into the season to be getting so little. Of course I'll be watching the next episode first thing Sunday though, the Lost effect of being angry every episode but obsessed with the show.
@@TheQueernessDiaries gotcha so you've been jaded by these writers before. I understand the frustration now, I didn't ever watch Lost thanks to everyone's anger so I have a bit more hope they learned their lesson.
I don't know, but i feel like those statues near that settlement where they found crops, those statues have a face similar to that of comono lady that elgin is seeing, because few of the statues have eye as they are open, but few statues look like they have eyes half open, which to me looks similar to that of comono lady; her eyes is always partially open. Maybe destroying those statues in the settlement may release the comono lady, and maybe, as per the photos we saw, Elgin might be going in that direction. Maybe!!
That same celler they were in, Elign locks fatima in there and while julie and randall are hanging out they end up in AN OLD CASTLE CELLAR. JULIE THROWS A ROPE DOWN TO SAVE A UNKNOWN MAN!!! And then guess who they see, Martin! And boom, wild loop back to the beginning. Just watch. Oh also jade gets everyone (almost everyone) killed by making a deal with the BIW 😅
It wont be the last season. From how this season ends, we might get a hold on current events as one of the main characters and their family arrive to the town....in a wagon....in the 1800s....@@sarsour27
@@J.W33111.Ano, we dont know who yet. But, at the end of this season, we get more answers and a chance at the beginning. One of the main families is arriving to the town at the end of the season. The only thing is....its the 1800s.....and they're on a wagon
I really think that Taran Matharu is correct in his theory as far as basis of the story. It’s based on the Beothuk tribe of Newfoundland. There’s just way too many coincidences for it not to be. In short, the expedition of John Cadot in 1506, it was his second expedition to Newfoundland, they all disappeared. They took one of the Beothuk women, she was pregnant, they kept her baby and accused her of being a witch because she prayed to forest spirits. They put her in a cave with no light and left her there. She prayed to the forest spirit for help, they offered to help however she had to play a game and win, it was thought that these spirits liked to play games. The original crew of Cadot were the first trapped and perhaps the only, possible reincarnation over and over until the game is won. There’s so much more. Like where one of the places the Beothuk lived is now known as Boyd’s cove. They would pray to the sea spirit which is a big red jellyfish (cave painting). What we have to figure out is who all is playing the game and what are the rules, how many games, what determines a winner etc. We assume they use the forest, humans, and other objects as pawns to advance them in the game. The board has two halves, night and day, represented by the colors blue and yellow, which we see often paired together in the show. I think the boy in white is a player, he helps but also deceives. These demons are deceitful, just like the one that was telling Sara to do things, kind of like “read the fine print” there’s always a catch. The monsters are fae that are being used by a player. the boy in white led Boyd to Martin so he could bring worms back to town, I believe he’s a player as well. The Beothuk believed that some peoples spirits were trapped in birds (the crows) when they died, and they can be manipulated, which is why we see Khatri, Tom, and Abby, when they appear they seem to be helping. Also, there was another expedition that vanished, that consisted of 2 boats (2 cars), John Cadot named his boat Matthew (Tabitha and Jim’s last name is Matthews)… do your own digging and see what ya think. As for the bottle tree, as far as the numbers, I believe they are coordinates to different places in the from universe or whatever you want to call it. There’s a map in the truck that Miranda made, each place has a 4 digit number by it, these are places she traveled to, she used the numbers to remember which places she went. The lighthouse is 1 number different than Victors address which was on paper in the lunchbox, that’s why it took Tabitha to the lighthouse. Also, When Randal pulled his BS last season and they were stuck in the camper, the monsters stopped as soon as the music played. 🤷🏻♀️ in the rhyme , they touch, they break etc the line nobody here is free applies to the monsters also, they aren’t free, and I think they can be kept at bay with music and possibly iron.
@@missygooch8788 Taran Matharu came up with the basis, I did my own research and just paid attention to clues in the show. His theory is way more in depth, he has a channel, he also posted his theory on Reddit
@ his predictions as far as what’s going to happen and how have been wrong, some right, however there’s many ways to skin a cat. He got the basis of what the show is about correct, I’d bet money on it.
@@HappyUncovered yh the whole stone thing is based of it and you'll see settle hints of time travel/time resetting like the bracelet popping up outta nowhere.
Just when you think this show will give you an answer, they just throw in another horror trope. “Let’s throw in a demon baby and a possessed ventriloquist dummy, why not?” 😂
When I watch the videos, the picture is always very dark. Here in the explanatory videos, the picture is often much brighter and you can see a lot more details that I often can't see at all on my TV. Have these images been reworked or are the settings on my TV set completely wrong?
i love FROM, but im getting worried that people will keep on complaining that no answers are being given which will result in a show cancellation. We cannot have that, they have to see this whole show through pleaseeee
From is becoming slow and boring, this is a show I should have watched after all seasons are done. The fact that people had only one town meeting to share and discuss what’s going on (and they totally wasted it), is massively stupid.
I think tabithas son has a big connection the town as well. Theres a reason why they told sara to do the bad deed on him. Since hes the son of tabitha i think ethan has a big roll in the town.
There is another thing I'm thinking about we've seen vector said before that he found his mom dead near the bottle tree and we saw that his sister followed the mom what if the mom got the sister in the tree then died so Tabitha will be Victor's sister so what she's seeing is not a dream but it's what she saw before when she was in there And maybe that's why she was able to leave because she did before
This show is so good we are in season 3 with no answers and it’s so well done that I don’t care how long they stretch it out…. I’m really liking season 3
This show is getting shitty with each episodes, where is jim and what's he doin ? He was so involved in getting answers and suddenly vanished from the screen time!!! Also, where's Tillie and her secrets ? The makers are just making up more and more stories and chapters while forgetting to keep words
I think the word “Anghkooey” is from two words 1.Ankou-ankou is the figure in breton myth who collects the spirit of the dead and brings them to hell 2.cooey-it means a cry to attract attention or give WARNING so basically what i mean is that the children are trying to say that anghookey means that ankou is coming and it is all related to free and save the children from ankou
@@missylielouive only seen episode 8 from the leaks but I don’t know how they were leaked because all actors said they get the script ahead of shooting but i hope it’s not true or maybe they decide to change at least the last 2 episodes

that joke in the first 6 seconds hit way too hard lmao edit: Will destroying the doll kill the monsters? We know the entity turns fears into reality and puts them onto objects and perhaps living people. Like the bugs, the music box, the trees, and maybe perhaps the dolls? Cicadas originated from Sarah's brothers' fear. The music box is sometimes a fear people have, Where does it come from? Who knows. The faraway trees could be someone's fear of entering a hole and not knowing where it goes, fear of the unknown. The doll that Victor has could be a fear of puppets, a fear of things that look humanoid. Which is probably why the monsters exist. And season two, had the fear of spiders. An entire tree was covered in cobwebs and at the center spiders. Perhaps we've seen other fears turned into reality. Fear of starvation (the crops get poisoned) Fear of running cattle (the monsters let the animals loose) Fear that the monsters are smart (we see them start to learn and use tactics to get victims) Fear of being pregnant Fear of NOT being pregnant I wanna add to the theory, a far-fetched idea. I think the entity, just as they've been saying all along, feeds off of suffering and the best way to get people to suffer is to give them hope and destroy it. So not only does it turn fears to reality, it also turns hope to realities. A hope for a way out A hope for medicine A hope for food A hope for whatever. I think it uses its power to turn both fears and hopes into reality just to keep them suffering
I've been wondering two things for a long time now: what if the talismans don't really protect the homes from the monsters at all? Since Fromville is one giant mindf*** anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if at some point, the monsters are like, "Haha those things never actually protected you guys at all! We were just messing with you!" And secondly, if Fromville is the battleground for some sort of fight between good and evil, and since it appears to suck buildings and people in from the outside world, if good "loses", would the whole world become Fromville? This would make for a pretty epic final season.
I think that Miranda made some deal with the monsters or Jasper or the entity that let her daughter, Tabitha, get out and keeps them from hurting Victor. That is why they tried to make Sara "kill the boy" aka Victor, because they aren't allowed too. That's as far I have gotten so far. But def thinking the colors mean something. Tilly is always in blue, the bus driver is in blue a lot, Jade wears that maroon hat and the stones are maroon. Really enjoying this show though!!!!
I keep seeing this said alot but it's clear it was meant for Ethan. She was just talking to Ethan and then boom "kill the boy". Also if they wanted Victor dead he would be. Remember that monster said "If you keep coming down here. One day we'll make you stay Victor". So they could kill him whenever they wanted to. He was in the cave saving Tabitha in S1 when she dug the hole AFTER Sara got that message so if they wanted him dead they would've killed him when he went to save Tabitha.
It’s getting frustrating how repetitive it’s feeling. Yeah, there are a few twists and turns but I feel like the “monsters” are still a big focus 3 seasons in. Boyd wants to capture one and they’re still going in the tunnels. Earlier on it was mentioned that the monsters are just the tip of the iceberg to that place. And yes it has touched on some of those ideas but I feel like it’s still heavily only the monsters and it starting to become repetitive and lack of creativity. I’m hoping that by the end of season 3 we get at least some answers so it feels satisfying that there is at least some type of progress. If not then I can see it going downhill soon.
There is a massive amount of use of the color yellow in the show. Even yellow filters when filming so heres what i think: Hastur is also known as the king in yellow. He resides in Carcosa or the "dreamlands". He's also referred to as the "sleeper beneath the lake" So I wonder if thats what elgins draw to the water is at the Brundels. Or if brundels connects to a larger body of water. Theres been so many different iterations of him that it's hard to say which parts may be used but one quote states "Hastur will alter reality and merge parts of Earth into Carcosa, usually bringing along unwilling people as well" The monsters maybe based on Ghasts from Lovecraftian lore: "Ghasts are a species of humanoid creatures that inhabit the Underworld" The spiders may be based on Atlach Nacha who "spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world." Nodens is a Celtic deity (also is used in Lovecraftian lore) associated with healing, the sea, hunting and dogs. He also is commonly depicted with ravens (in episode one tabitha tells ethan that the birds may not be crows, but ravens). Nodens is stated to fight and hunt the evil forces of the dreamlands. So I do feel there is alot of Lovecraftian lore going on. However we also see some Japanese folklore and celtic folklore.
I think they all need to get together and find the answer. However it is slowly happening. We still got a few episodes left.. hopefully we will get our answers . 😊
Has anyone thought about why the show is called from? I think that the name of the show is in correlation with the dates in the bottle.Because why would the show just be randomly called from.
Also…if they found the bile in the body…shouldn’t it have some impact on the story? They used it in the bullets to no effect so just a giant red herring? SMH.
Could Fatima be turning into one of the creatures? Eating the rotten food, Drinking the dead girls blood, The drowned woman being around her so much.... this show is fun.
Fromville loves to torment people that's why the monsters didn't kill Boyd or Randall and why it doesn't just send everything after the humans and then replace them with new victims from our Earth.
My theory is that the monsters were the children that or the monsters were residents of that town at one point the way Randal described their routines sitting by the pool etc... remember when Boyd got stuck in the chimney/well and he met that weird man I believe he said something like don't bother being scared of the monsters they are not the scariest thing there... I think the monsters are trapped and the current residents Boyd Tabitha etc... one day if they don't figure all this out they will become the monsters... Just a theory... I really love this show #ilovescareymovies #fromisfavshow
Maybe Sara’s arm message about kill the boy was about kill the boy in white (ran out of space to write the whole thing or she interpreted wrong). This could be greater evil (cicadas monster etc) trying to get rid of any help that BIW might give to ppl in town
BIW is actually fishy i never believed he was actually good there’s definitely something about him that is off and in Miranda’s drawings he seemed so sad and strange unlike how he appears to the others
Im mind blown by the fact that we're almost at the end of season three and we still don't have the slightest clue of what this show is exactly about and what's exactly going on
@asant90 it just hit me... that just like the residents of fromville, we too, are absolutely clueless.. and that's how the producers may have planned for it to be
I'm still trying to figure out if there's anyway to figure out where you'll end up when you go through the faraway trees or the town decides where you end up and why
why would Tabitha have time traveled? most likely she had a vision of a past Chosen One, even the very first one. Remember Henry said Miranda had visions of all past Chosen Ones. Why always thinking outside of what the elements the show give us?
Ppl are so quick to jump on the time travel theory in regards to little Tabby’s clothes, but maybe as a child she was trapped in Fromville or maybe even born there, but they were left over clothes from the basement. That’s equally possible…how much more impossible would that make the show to figure out, and if there’s only 5 seasons from what I heard, I don’t see that realistic
3seasons in, and it doesn’t even feel like we’re half way through the first act This show really needs to pick up the pace with world building, cuz every character has already been fleshed out so much that I don’t find any of them interesting anymore. Jade is the most disappointing(my favorite character too). They randomly make him an alcoholic for half of the season just to intentionally slow down the plot even more.
in Season 3 ep 2 at Henrys house there are pictures on the wall. This girl look like Tabitha at young age.. Or maybe there smth more. Why this scene was taken near the wall with photos.!??!?
Fromvile theory- Actually it is a contest between Good (7 children's similar to children's of the forest GOT) vs supreme evil (like Night King). Supreme evil has captivated this children's in some kind of bondaries, and this boundaries are hidden from the world, so that no one can come and free then up and also unleashed their armies of monsters to stop others from liberating the children's. Meanwhile children's have also made some arrangements before being captured, they set up a person who will be possibly able to help them and this person when he/she dies whole of the time resets, and this resetting will continue till the childrens are freed. And also this children's have created faraway trees to help the peoples who will try to help them. This evil vs good. Where people vs monsters cum (supreme evils settings to contain the childrens). This children's are some kind of deities helping the mother earth or universe. And the white dress boy is the messenger of children who alone cant help the childrens
I'm starting to get annoyed at how there's too many unanswered questions... I was thinking of watching the tv show but I'm just gonna watch your breakdowns.
