My auntie also started from Makola Market and now has a big hotel and own properties in Legon. U need money to rent a shop in makola market, those women there have serious cash.
This woman is remarkably beautiful, innovative and industrious. The youth of Ghana needs to emulate her. A true life genius. God bless her. Thanks Vanessa for highlighting such people in our society. Someone who finds solutions to problems. Ghanaian women are amazing.
I am so happy to see you return home to your roots Vanessa. Interviewing this formidably enterprising lady is your gift to our young African women who are getting started in life after University. She is a living testimony that there are lots of promising ways to attain success in our new and rapidly evolving Afrika. You don't need to travel outside Africa to a foreign land to make it.
Wow we used to live on the same road in dansoman from way back then. From humble beginning to this far.i remember she was marketing woman of the year in late 90's when she owned a company making aluminium pans and stuff.very industrious she is.Well done.
This woman is very inspirational. She represents your typical Ghanaian entrepreneur who has been through it all. #WealthOfBussinesExperience Great Video Vanessa 👌
Anti vivian is awesome; she's very caring, especially towards her employees. My sister used to cater lunch for her employees at one time at Rose Aluminium. Didnt know she's into real estate now. Great job!
A true entrepreneur. Self made all the way. Have that ability to spot opportunity for situations where others would throw their hands up. Can't find the pot I want - I'll start making pots.
Very enthralling conversation that could help change course for many , especially women. You’re both examples of females excelling and uplifting others . I feel proud of black women watching you tonite 😁😍
Vanessa, you’ve just tapped into a gold mind. Gold mind as in really bringing what is possible to Ghanaians. The mokola women and men have received very little attention. They are often referred to as the ‘big women’ of mokola market. You should cover their stories as these are multi-millionaires whose stories receive little to no media coverage.
Makola women lost their livelihood when Rawlings demolished the Makola No1 Market, claiming corruption. Many Ga women were impoverished from this, and affected the use of Ga language, which was widely spoken than Twi at that time in Accra.
Lovely. Always seen Rose Aluminum as I lived in Spintex, didn’t know she was the one behind it. I’d love to meet her one day. Truly inspired. As an entrepreneur in Ghana, I know I can make it too just by listening to how far she’s come.
You are good at this. I saw another girl presenting a home. She almost gave me a headache because she Was speaking fast and it was not flowing from one thing to another. Great Job.
Epitome of beauty , brains and success !! She is testament that you can do it all . Find a need and fill it at all points in your life . You never know how far it will throttle you . She believes in herself , self driven and intelligent. The grit and dedication this Grand Mom Embodies is great ! Love ❤️ mother Africa !!! Mama de Power 👑. Her success trumps a PhD. I 🙇♀️ bow !!!
She describe the concept of obstacle is the way. What does not exists in Ghana creates the biggest opportunities and should not be looked at as a hindrance. Ghana is Gold Coast indeed.
Vanessa, this is amazing. Vivian is an inspirational woman. Thanks so much for sharing. Can she get into some affordable housing for those of us "down the ladder" in the diaspora? Thanks once agan.
🇬🇭 Ghana’s 👑 African Queen 👑 her Inspirational Life is a full Testament that, All Things Are Possible if You Trust and Believe. Her ...Words of Wisdom ... the 3’P’s 1.Prayer 🙏🏿 🙏🏿🙏🏿 .. 2. Passion 💕💕 .. 3 Perseverance 🤜🏿🤛🏿
You are an inspiration Madame Vivian. May you live a long healthy life and may you be an instrument of uplifting and change especially for young women.
That’s true actually - most of the Ghanaian men I know are teachers, accountants etc. Interesting History and how the western culture still influences Africa today. That’s why channels like this are important to change the narrative.

What an inspiring interview. It shows how hard work and perseverance pays off. Vanessa, you look amazing. I Iove your dress - who made it? I want one, LOL.
Hello. You are an extraordinary gifted woman! Wonderful! I seem to have lost my steam. Listening to you, inspires me greatly but age has caught up with me! Thank you Vannesa for showing us this amazing entrepreneur. She has done so much it is unbelievable. She is truly a gifted person & hard working as well. I love the architecture but we can do with a bit more trees, I think. Wonderful!
Vanessa in Africa, for what I know Ghanaian and Nigerian women are very entrepreneurial. In Ghana the men are just show off. The real money bags are the trading women and those at the Makola Market and they don’t show off like the men do. However Ghanaian and Nigerian men are also very entrepreneurial but like to show off with their flash cars . And we have always practiced gender equality, no matter what the west portray us.

I find the prices of newly built houses in Ghana exorbitant. For example, for the same price of the above property, I can buy two properties with large surroundings in the USA.
