If you're really wanting the big money in this business dont be scared to call or go in person to work directly with customers... Youll be saving them money cutting out the broker and also you cut out the broker/dispatch putting that money in your pocket. If you're local even better, a customer appreciates a local partnership. Get dedicated lanes/Quarterly bids out to these customers. If you using Gigs and delivering also ask to speak with the Logistics/Warehouse manager while there and see if you can get them pricing, its an easier conversation.. You gotta think outside the box or you will not make it. Goodluck all, I was a broker for 8 years and recently bought a Box Truck and Sprinter. If you have questions jusy ask, theres enough money in this industry for everyone to eat.. Dont mistake movement for progress.
Thank you brother....getting out of the truck (semi 6yrs.)and into a sprinter. Lot of BS man, everybody looking for money. They always said, "takes money to make money. " but damn. Going to deal with a dispatch/broker for a few months but tired of making every one else rich. Good video bro. G

Definitely sign up with these apps. Also, search Craigslist and indeed as much as possible. Auto parts places always looking for drivers. The wait time to sign with these apps do be crazy. I was an OTR driver for a while. I'm local now and looking to get into cargo van business. I have my LLC in just here to learn at the moment. I've seen some videos where they say it's not a good idea to start a cargo van business in 2024. Is it that bad right now?
I don't have commercial insurance. I work just the apps. The apps are not consistent. Some days, I make $300 others $50. If you are a local truck driver. I think maybe should stay until you get all the apps or mc#. I'm actually thinking of going back to trucking locally. Keep doing your research. Thanks for watching.
How were you able to insure that van without commercial insurance? The few places I shop, soon as I give them my Vin they say I have to have commercial insurance.
Did you buy the van in your personal name or under your LLC? Cause I know that if you put it under your llc. It'll force you to get commercial insurance. How you go about doing everything? Thanks in advance.
@DaHustlaTv I bought under my personal. I ended up signing up with State Farm like he suggested, which worked and now saving just over $200 a month with similar coverages! Hopefully at some time I'll get to the point where I need commercial insurance, but for now I don't.
I don't have commercial insurance. I am working the gig apps. Roadie, GoShare, Dolly ect. I do regret not getting commercial insurance. I would have more work. Thanks for watching.
