Well I think the seahorse is well on it's way to recovery... hoping I'm not jinxing this right now! I used Melafix to medicate the quarantine tank and it seems to have done the trick. Still crossing my fingers though!
Hi Eric glad to see your seahorse horse is improving and the rest of the stable is looking good, don't know if you're dosing anything in your main tank but you might want to have a look at tropic marin bacto balance to try and stabilise those nutrients, it's a source of carbon dosing so skimmer needs to be operating, hope everything settles down for you, keep on reefing and have a good weekend
Hey Jim! Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! Funniest thing.. i bought bacto-balance a little while back and totally for I even had it???!!!! As soon as I read your comment and had an oh sh&t moment, went into my cabinet and found the bottle. I added the 1st dose this morning. Thanks again and hope you have a great weekend too!
Hey there, no mushrooms won't sting him. I did some research and the issue was gas bubble disease. He's all better now thankfully. Had to isolate him and treat him with meds. Thanks for watching!
