After listening to you talk about Van Gogh I wonder what the artists from the past would think about all the possibilities of the wide range of mediums have now. Gel pens, water-based or alcohol-based markers, acrylic/oil paint markers, water soluable crayons/ color pencils and the ease with which they are available. Also the wide range of colors? Thank you for talking about his mental health struggles. I'm sure a lot of people considered him crazy. I know my main reason for doing art is to cope with health issues and the pain associated with it. Thank you. Have a beautiful day!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful message! 😊 It's fascinating to think about how artists from the past would react to the incredible range of mediums and colors available to us today. Back in their time, they often had to rely on more limited materials, like pigments mixed with binders or even using pig stomachs as paint containers when painting outdoors. It's quite a contrast to the convenience we have now with gel pens, markers, paint markers, and an extensive palette of colors at our fingertips. I'm glad you found my discussion on Van Gogh's mental health struggles meaningful. Art has always been a powerful means of coping and expressing emotions, and it's inspiring to hear that you use art as a way to cope with your health issues and pain. It's a beautiful testament to the healing and transformative nature of creativity. Wishing you a truly beautiful day filled with creativity and inspiration!

A major highway through funky amoeba town. That’s what I think. I so enjoy listening to your upbeat stories. You know what else I like? Seeing light shine on paint as you apply it. I especially like the red gloss that looks like red lipstick or fire trucks. Eye candy for me. I’m grateful to get pleasure from these small things. The pathways from my eyes to my brain are precious to me. I LOVE COLOR. Thanks, Anita.

On RU-vid there is a show about lost pieces of art coming back to light or being fake. I think it’s called fake or fortune. Anywho I watched one on Vincent Van Gogh and was absolutely mesmerized. I learn so much about the great artist that came before from that show honestly lol. Anywho, huge fan of your work and have even started trying to create my intuitive art through mark making. I’m having a blast so far ❤
