I drove more than 20 hours from Dallas, Texas to San Diego, California on my first solo cross-country road trip, traveling through varying kinds of roadkill and gas prices, to bring my 2 Pomeranians Mingki and MoMo to a dog beach.
You won't know how you actually feel about it until you try, but make sure it's a scenic drive. I just drove roughly 7 hours from New Orleans to Georgia and that was NOT scenic.
Hi! I don't recall me driving without another car in sight for too long. As for gas, the only stretch that I remember that I needed to gas up for was between Las Cruces and Tucson.
Welcome to Dallas! If you want to be close to events, stay below 635, but if you're renting an apt just know they're all really old and your apt a/c will likely break and stay broken for an extended amount of time. Look at the reviews. They don't lie. As for me, I loved Addison and The Colony.
