You can power directly to the printer psu at 24V

I'm currently trying to get a similar set up going on a heavily modded ender 3 v2 running an skr pro v1.2 and a micro swiss ng revo direct drive on a linear rail and I'm not going to lie I'm still fairly new to every aspect of all of this. Touched my first sbc, flashed my first firmware, first ssh session first wired jst connector, first wiring schematic literally first everything of every little aspect of the 3d printing and programming and whatever other worlds meet at the cross road of melted plastic within the last 6 months. I understand everything I'm doing why I'm doing it what it does and everything you think you should know before you tear apart a 3d printer and found out their are whole other worlds i hadn't known i needed to know yet. Like I'm said I'm running the skr pro v1.2 on the ender 3 with the micro swiss and everything else you can do mechanically to an ender 3 with the pad 7 as the host and i have every btt module and add on that is compatible with the board that i am currently TRYING to add and figure out the wiring and the pins to use and the klipper configs and everything i need to do but i dove too deep in without enough knowledge about some things and i was trying to originally just get the board operational and then add the resume print and power off and then eventually the u2c and ebb42 and i can't find after months of hours and hours long searching find the answers i need to make the power off or resume print work with that board and klipper so i decided to wait and try to learn more first to figure it out myself so i decided to just try and get the u2c and ebb42 working from the can on the pad 7 and realized i don't know how can works or how to wire it and they don't provide the cables nor information to make them and furthermore the pad is a two wire spi to can and everything else is a 4 wire can bus and i can't find what i need to figure out all of that without overloading myself and getting too stressed to work through it. So I'm wondering especially since there is at this point almost nothing out there tutorial wise for working with the pad and peripherals or hardware if maybe you might be able to find time to explain the setup in this video or do a video of it from making the cables to connecting all the modules or possibly point me somewhere that i could find even the cable making and what's required for it or really anything because I'm starting to lose steam to finish this project and i absolutely love it so I'd rather not give up. Anything you might be able to help with would be more than appreciated and if i can come up with a few dollars i could buy you a coffee or something. Sorry for the incredibly long comment but I'm struggling right now. Thank you in advance

Here's another SKR Pro 1.2 user that has shared their Klipper printer.cfg: gist.github.com/lhess/d1061787b4b275517e8e285dab738dbe More general info on how to install Klipper on an Ender 3 V2: www.reddit.com/r/klippers/comments/kj2h5r/stepbystep_guide_for_ender_3_v2_klipper_w_bltouch/ The CAN bus port on the Pad7 only provides CAN H and CAN L which you can wire up directly to your toolhead's CAN H and CAN L, but your toolhead will need 24V and GND from somewhere. Usually that's your 24V PSU. Alternatively, you can skip the Pad7's CAN bus port entirely by connecting it to a U2C over USB. The U2C would also need a 24V and GND feed from somewhere, like your 24V PSU, and then it can pass 24V, GND, CAN H and CAN L to your toolhead PCB using the 2x2 pin Molex Microfit connector (the smaller black one) that came with your U2C. Then you need to learn about setting up a CAN Bus network on Linux. I personally follow Esoterical's excellent guide on this here: github.com/Esoterical/voron_canbus There's a lot to unpack, but hopefully all of that information should help you get over the finish line! Best of luck!

Howdy neighbour :) Would you happen to know if the CB1 onboard the Pad7 would be capable enough to run two printers and two USB web cameras simultaneously? When I first started running klipper on my Sovol SV06, I was using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W and a pi camera V2. I was unable to compile crowsnest due to it the compile locking up, so I had to move the build to a 2GB pi4 to finish it and then move it back to the zero. Back on the zero I was getting mcu errors all the time when trying to stream, so I ended up moving it all back to the 2GB pi4.

It has 1 GB of RAM, 3 USB A ports, and 1 USB C port. I would be reluctant drive two printers with webcams off of it myself.

@@oldguymeltsplastic Thanks for the feedback on that. I've since discovered that my idea was not totally valid and my understanding of how it would be set up was incorrect. The new plan is two klipper installs with a shared webcam, since both of my active printers sit on the same bench. My current setup uses a 2GB Pi4, and it's only using 240 MB of RAM to run klipper and a USB camera.

You have a link to that stealthburner stand? I can think of a couple of uses for it

If it's a newer EBB42 with an STM G0B1 processor, and newer U2C, then the first few videos of my From The Bench playlist should still work, as the new EBB42 uses the same flashing steps as the SB2240 that I cover in those videos.
