Lark, the son of Aden and Raven, ventures out into the rugged Northern wilderness at the border of Yellowstone in order to blaze a trail and explore new horizons. His journey leads him to Hellroaring Mountain, a rough and wild wilderness with new faces, places, rivals, and dangers to encounter...

oh don't worry if you go far enough up you will most defiantly get shot at least 5 times

@@Kat-hh7fz Yeah, if you go past the part of the map that says "Yellowstone national park" you aren't protected past Yellowstone national park. That means you are open for hunters hunting you.

I used the creek to get away from territorial pack wolves. I was going into amethyst mountain in pursuit of a mate and ran into pack wolves. Though I was out running them it was scary cause I still had a ways to go. Eventually I made it to the creek and when I went in the pretty much backed off. Once I made it to the other side they quit pursuing but I just ran alongside the bank the entire way out just in case I ran into more lol. Once you go in water they may follow you in a little but not all the way (from my experience), they also won’t try and bite while you’re in water either (again from my experience).

They will try to bite, but they can’t actually bite while your in the water, though you can, so it makes it easier to kill wolves when trying to disband packs in any map.

It's fun watching you explore the map and stuff. The terrain is really dynamic in this map, it was especially scenic at sunset from up high. I can hardly wait till I can play this game one day. Thanks for another video Jay!

You should totally get WolfQuest Anniversary Edition, if you’d even like theres WolfQuest 2.7 (Classic) as well! I also still play WolfQuest 2.5. The game has come far, i hope everything comes out as awesome as it is now! ❤

I've fallen down at least 4 cliffs just on accident while playing this map 😭 I have an awful habit of jumping while running down sleep hillsides which sends me flying and tends to take out like. 50% of my health :'] I'm surprised I haven't died from it yet omg

@@silt59yeah, in the cattle ranch in lost river i was running around so i jumped and fell down some hill near a road. me and my friends were looking for the cattle lol

Tip, if you howl and stranger wolves howl back, a heart will be next to the icon if a potential mate is in the group. 😊 Edit: they just added a panel explaining how this works when you enter a map 👍🏻

Wow I love the size of the map🤗this is one of the few games where you know, the fields and mountains in the distance are actually reachable and not just there for the scenery:)

Youn can also get an achievement only in fall season, find a Snowberry elk herd (usually in northern area of the map) and you can find some intresting member of the herd 🦌

Yeah, it released yesterday i’m assuming? Saw the devblog of it, it seems awesome! I followed up all the videos of Hellroaring Mountain too, and wow they did a lot to it. It’s honestly perfect. I should start up wolfquest though and play along with watching this lol

my ironwolf got shot before i knew i had just slept after eating a carcass and i woke up. Boom i was dead. I was like wtf even happened. I'm dead how can i be dead. And then i got the notification hunters legally shot and killed me.

Its massive. Like 2x bigger then the others. I found a kids toy that makes animal sounds that howls back at you.

-Unique landforms/geography from the other maps (huge mountains, rivers way bigger than the other maps), lots of cool rocks, boulder fields, new plant species (including a red plant I loveeee), waterfalls, and the Yellowstone canyon (and a footbridge to cross it!) -Wolverines, a new animal, replace beavers on this map, and are exclusive to this map only! -The map is 30% bigger than the others -New achievements -Perhaps the most exciting thing of all, though, is that a portion of the map is located outside the park… which means wolves aren’t protected. I won’t give any spoilers unless you ask for them, but I’m sure you can begin to guess what that might mean…. -All of the proceeds from this DLC go towards the development of the saga, so by buying it not only will you get this awesome new map but will also be helping to support the saga!!! There’s probably even more I’m forgetting, but it’s definitely worth it if you can afford it!

Like RosieWolf said, there’s new achievements! The achievements are pretty unique from other achievements and fun to try and achieve (imo)

@@RosieWolfYou can throw your wolves’ off the cliffs, and raise pups with exciting 🆕 achievements, with and without your pups. ⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️ An example of 2 achievements, with your mate and pups: (i forgot the actual nsmes, i’ll check later) -Canyon Swim- Swim in i think it was that Canyon kinda area, where streams connect to one. (Might be another achievement with pups too) -Bridge Achievement- Bring your pups across some bridge {Jay passed and got to achievement for around the start of the run} during the Journey to the Summer Home Site.
