Hi everyone. This is part 4 of a series of videos sharing the experience my husband and had of working on a collection of hand dyed yarn colours inspired by Vintage Vehicles. We enjoyed our collaboration on this and we were very pleased with the results. In this video you will see more of the colours we worked on as well as some behind the scenes of us getting ready to launch the collection.

Hi, life interfered with the release of episode 16 so I am just today (12/20/21) watching it. Needless to say, the content is fabulous. Just what I needed! Slow, methodic, intentional, color. Even the garbage can recipe proved to have motive and intent. All of your colors are so vivid and flow so well, like melted glass. Thank you for the video, commentary, and for including such lovely comments about your husband.

Wow thank you for another beautiful video. Just when I think you are finished dyeing your yarn. You take it to another level. I thought you were finished with the blue green yarn in the beginning of this video then you put a darker color over it. The same with the yellow and pink yarn. And the end result just was gorgeous. I like that you and mike embrace each other’s passion and made it a business blessings to you both. 🙂🧶🛻

Just beautiful Cheryl, try to track down some reusable cable ties, they are thick and sweet easy to get off, saving u money and the environment from single use plastics 👍🏽👍🏽

Thank you for the suggestion. It's a good idea. I use different colour zip ties so I can tell yarn bases apart since I will often dye several bases together of the same colour. The dye stains the ties making it useless for telling bases apart in the future. I would still only get one use out of a reusable tie. However I'm always on the lookout for better solutions.

these colors are gorgeous !!! i dye my own as a hobby since I retired, and never have tried layering this many colors.... and yes, Notes are a must. I also have a book I use for to record colors, dye amounts and a swatch of the finished yarn. heading over to your website for sure!

I'm a more is more type of person so tend to go overboard but so far it's worked for me :) Glad you understand the importance of taking good notes, sounds like you have an excellent system for doing that.

Omg I can’t even!!! I love it all! That color you rescued is probably my favorite of the collection. And that blue is stunning. Will any of these remain as a regular feature in the shop? Or are they limited editions?

Will the minis be available in the future or are they limited? Is this series of colours part of your line or is it a limited series?

Thank you for supporting my business. I definitely will be adding some of these colours to my permanent list (haven't decided which ones yet). As for the minis I think I will offer them as part of special collections in the future like I did this time. Not sure if there is enough demand at least from my shop at this time to have them available all the time.
