Michael Clarke absolutely dominated a star-studded South African attack in the 2012 Adelaide Test, hammering 230 to become the first man in history to score four Test double hundreds in a calendar year
Count no of teat matches rather than years , root has played 143 test in 12 years and have 32 century , smith has olayed 96 test in 14 years having 32 century too
230 from 257 balls wow 😳😳😳😳. That too against one of the best bowling attack in history. Most underrated counter attacking innings from the most stylish batsman 😘😘😘😘
Steryn, morkel, Kleinveldt and tahir played this match and its because of philander had a back soreness. Kleinveldt supposed to be dropped for this match but got another chance since philander got injured and recalled imran tahir pretty much this bowling attack got a bit weak

Best Player of spin in Australian cricket.Reason for winning series in India. He also is a daring captain and helped Australia to come out of a slump in his captaincy. I always imitate his batting style.
Credit goes to warner and hussey as well to partnering with him The young warner was surving when team was almost choking and then came micheal clarke who played a captains knock and then came mr cricket who scored 103 these 3 saved australia from choking this was one of the greatest sa vs aus match in australia's favour.
Michael Clarke was really a sensational cricketer who won a world cup as a skipper to end his beautiful career and there's no need to tell how great a batsman, stroke maker he was but unfortunately people talks more about his looks and other things than how great a cricketer he's He and especially KP(more flashy and stylish) are like a David Beckham of cricket.
When I teach youngsters about batting, I use Pup Clarke as the epitome of what it is 'supposed' to look like. All poise and class and style with that immaculate straight bat. Power comes from timing not brute strength. To quote Bill Lawry ' a joy to watch'
I agree. I don’t care what anyone thinks of him, Michael Clarke was one of the best captains australia had. It makes me sad seeing how we went from Clarke being captain and hammering 200s and 100s against strong teams to having pat cummins as captain nowadays
My all time favourite cricketer Michael clarke..❤ The amount of swag he had possessed during his presence in d field in terms of batting as well as leading d team will nvr ever been matched..
Unbelievable player when in form. Too bad his back gave way in the end. It's sad to see how he's falling apart after retirement these days but what a wonderful player he was
@@rvs1444 yeah I watched his innings yesterday. That was an awesome batting display. He really deserved that century. Better luck for NZ next time. Congrats to Australia.
The music at the beginning is awesome 👌. Btw, did anyone notice that Warner also scored a century? Let's appreciate that as well along with that of Clarke... (Edit: Hussey also scored a century, let's appreciate him too)
@@ruchirmundhra6716 your analogy is not even worth it, stuart binny and wasim are far away but sachin and clark are not that far , i rate clark higher than sachin in tests, but in ODI sachin is far better
Australia is a lucky team because it's always produce prolific performer over the years.....one of them in the form of Micheal Clark ...the elegant cricketer become a legend for Australia and world cricket also..
Leeroy C hmmmmm average speaks for itself a complete class act however I would change what I said to one of the most underappreciated test batsmen to play the game
Unlike his 329* this was hardly without chances, but still a great knock. Remembers it differently but still amazing. SA still won this series which is most mind-boggling of all. Clarke hed two doubles this series.
