Came here to see Abdul Qadir in action. Great bowler. Unique and weird action. But lovable. I used to imitate him during my school days. Nice round action. Deveptive. Love from chennai, india. May his soul rip
Look at the comments, it is indians who are praising pakistani legend cricketer. Love & Peace is all what we want and nothing else. Bhaayi kisi ki nazar lag gayi dono mulkoo ko. woh kehti hai meri awaaz mai dard nahi ab usey kya kaho mere lafzoo nai nahi dil na ishq kiya hai....
Until reading the comments I had no idea of his passing. RIP, a fantastic bowler who popped up in a world dominated by fast bowling and put legspin back on the map, a true magician with ball in hand and regarded as one of the greats.
@Uraib Nadeem yes learning is good. N it was rubbed because of obnoxious politicians in ur country who has a distinct set of beliefs about whatever India does...they are utterly sure as to whatever India does will be detrimental for ur country...thats y it was directly rubbed...
I was at this match - 12 yrs old !! I also had the pleasure of meeting him in 1998 when he played District Cricket for Carlton (Suburb of Melbourne). It was a great day and he was quite friendly.
John Clifford I remember the day I saw him and met him after a match at the local spice store in Brunswick next to Carlton. Me and my friends new to Australia we convinced him to come home with us and share a meal! He truly was an amazing bloke... he gave me free gear from his brand last time I met him in 2015 as a repayment for the small meal we fed him. Top bloke RIP
@@darwinnunez5793 ..apni wife day wo peso say nai satisfaction per impress hoti hey wasey bhi randians ko hathi ka lund pasand hey ..just like imran waseem mohsin..shoaib and now hassan😀😀😀😀
@@chinmaynsp7 and so warne was not gifted, beautiful. get out of heroism, look qadir's gone and so everybody's to leave this place sooner or after and this is only certain thing. So please enjoy the humanity anf dont get deceive by the politicians who have shaped Nationalism as a new age religion. Nationalism is no ideology, its just of their's interest.
"Father of Modern Legspin" Abdul Qadir revived leg spin bowling during 80's hence contributed a great deal in the emergence of the later greats like Warne, Mushtaq and Kumbley etc.
@@sourabhdebnath685 why are you comparing warne with qadir, its just the nag of coming to wicket which makes them exciting bowlers, many bowlers started imitating qadirs action in early 80s. Warne and qadir are from two different generations. Why compare them? To demean another?
انا لله و انا اليه راجعون (We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return) May Allah Tallah bless him Jannah and be pleased with him on day of judgement. Ameen الهم امين
Notice, as great viv Richards is the man to see at the crease, spectacular, so is Abdul qadir, spectacular while bowling, this great legend, was indeed a great magical bowler, was indeed a sight while bowling, humble man, we delighted his action and follow through, passed away sadly and untimely, indeed a great character of the game is gone for ever saying goodbye to all cricket lovers plus acquainted people and kith and kin, my condolences to the bereaved family, this loss will never be replaced, will always be remembered, a giant of the game, rest in peace, sir, we love you, God bless your family.
Heard in an interview once that he had 4-5 varieties of the googly. He added saying, if a kid wants to learn the art of leg spin, he must watch the video of his haul of 9 wickets against England at Faisalabad. Absolute champion. RIP.
One of the finest memory of Abdul Quadir is the winning runs he scored against Walsh in the last ball of the group match against WI in 1987 World Cup. That was a very close match and for a tailender to have won that high pressure match against a quality pacer required enormous amount of grit and courage. RIP..
RADREXx x Lol i feel pity of you guys And to my all my pakistani brothers why do u reply to these 11 year olds, let them worship tendukar all these people do is worship objects and humans which is sad cuz they don't have the decency to value others!
When I was growing up when you got got someone out with a good leggie it was always called an "Abdul". Also you always pretended to be him by spinning the ball up in front of the batsman then hiding it away before bowling. He started the art of modern day spin bowling and will be greatly missed.
RIP sir, I remember as kid my memory of AQ is hammering sm 10 runs against mighty WI win an odi for his team..obviously As an bowler, he was very good but I become fan for his courageous batting. My friend used to imitate his bowling action.. Love from India🇮🇳.
RIP, the person whom every one liked him during those days when he tuched the peak of spin world though the peoples most fevorit player of pak is Imraan.
Abdul qadir was a genius. One of the greatest leg spinner of all time. And he was also the life of the dressing room entertaining the team with his wit & humour. Qadir's bowling statistics do not do justice to his genius. Had he been playing cricket now with the modern DRS system , where badsman can be given out on the front foot as well , Qadir would have gotten as many wicket as the great Shane warne. "Imran khan"
Excellent .pl upload rodney Hogg 4wkts v srilanka in wsc group match 1985 among them 3 clean bowled. Also requesting for abdul qadir wkts compilation in world cup 1987.thanks
May Allah give his family members the patience to bare this great loss and uprise him to highest rank in Jannah. It's my personal belief that Sir Abdul Qadir is the father of modern variations. He introduced flipper and wrong un deliveries as well along with googly. The previous generations had learned a lot of things about cricket from this living legend. He would always be remembered for his contributions and dedication towards the betterment of the national structure.
May ALLAH almighty grant him high ranks in jannat UL firdos and give sabr e Jameel to his family, friends and relatives... Kindly Recite durood pak, surah fatiha and surah ikhlas for maghfirat@all
I watched Abdul in 82 in England and then saw what he did to Gatting's team in late 87. Qadir was a genius. I could put money on Shane Warne watching these highlights as a youngster and being inspired. Allah be with you Abdul.
