When you play 200 test matches and can maintain a plus 50 average, it has to mean something. When you play 24 years and maintain your prestige as an elite batsman, it must mean something. These accomplishments put Sachin above everyone else, I my opinion.

You speak too much 😂 Mr expert. If you never see other great players in the past how can you describe someone like that 😂. I remember before 1990 , 6 bouncers were allowed. And it was very hard to play fast bowlers. After 1990, game is very much in batsman favor. Remember these are completely dead wickets. He cant play them in 1990 on fast pitches with such pace.

There are faces who are good for business like dhoni, virat , tendulkar , it does not mean there are not other players , I will give you an example. Gowaskar was man who really face all such fast bowler with dignity. HOWEVER WHY indians don't call him God of cricket 🤣. Reason is at that time there was no business. gowaskar can play any bowler 2 days easily. I grew up watching tendulkar and if I remember his most scores are against poor teams on batting wickets. While virat initial 35 100s were mostly during chase in pressure situation. TENDUKLAR always play himself mostly. When ever he did score with good teams , india mostly lose.

Indian started to win Comfortably when gangly came into.scene. from 1998 to 2002, gangly was performing good. you don't see stats of match results. Watching few clips don't conclude things. And when tendukar was dominate on South African or West Indian bowlers during 1990s???? he was never a pressure batsman. as he played a lot of matches for money, so you may find some innings but mostly I don't witnessed him as match winning player, though he was one of best in 1990s along with lara. And for your info 1990s batsman was lara not tendulkar , Same 2000-2010 dominate batsman was ponting not tendulkar. In same way 2010 to 2020 most dominate player was kohli. So when he was absolute dominate force 🤣🤣🤣. Its not my stats , its from world cricket.

His prowress is unmatched ! the Domestic circuit of India never had such lethal bowlers ..He was introduced to such fiery pace and bounce all of a sudden and he still prevailed says a lot about the guy! Today we have so many crossovers in IPL and domestic cricket where cricketers face Waqar and Wasim "before" actually facing them ! Incredible !

Ppl forget that Waqar was just 1 year older than sachin when both of them made their debuts together in the same series . While there is a lot of recognition of how good sachin was at 16 to play such ferocious fast bowling there is no recognition of the fact that waqar bowled with such fervor when he was a 18 year old debutant

God of Cricket. Getting goosebumps remembering that era/time. Along with calibre of players like Sachin T., and his contemporary bowlers, cricket matches used to be something-to-look-forward-to, real, fun & competitive. 1990s less-hustled India, December/winter test cricket, sweaters with black border, neighbours & friends congregated to watch matches starting at 9a, home-made tea & pakoras -- that time will never come back. And not just in cricket, many things peaked around 90s in India - from quality of Bollywood/music, TV shows to quality of life in general. 90s kids/cohort would know.

Most important thing is that on a green pitch , conditions suitable for pace attack , all three great bowlers and sladgeing from opposite team, he doesn't afraid to face , best example is he ran four runs for that cover drive against Waquar. I watched this live on TV . It was great contest between best pace attack of that time & a teenager great batsman.

@@pallavpattanayak2813Ofcourse he is an extraordinary talent like Ms.Dhoni,Ganguly and Sewag and many others. Sachin himself told in an interview that facing Waqar at very early stage of his career was very tough experience bt it is Waqar's tough bowling who made him more tough batsman.

Both play U19 world cup also. Ok what's about Gavaskar then? He never faced the level of West Indians before but holds the record against them. Some are talented like Wasim Akram Abdul Kadir Mustaq Ahmed Zaheer Abbas etc. Some are made like Shastri and Vengarkar.From India S M Gavaskar Kapil Dev S R Tendulkar are inborn talented. Facing top level bowlers make them experienced.

Pakistan had very powerful bowling attack. Tandulkar played very good inning. I remember commentators were praising him . After that series Imran khan praised tandulkar too . When India left Newzealand came and lost all the tests and One days . After Newzealand westindians came and Brain Lara came with team westindians lost a 5 on days out of 6 and test series was drawn 1-1 .

There won't be a replacement for The God of Cricket.. At that time there was no power plays, no fielding restrictions, no free hits , all were legendary bowlers more than with 170 to 200 kmph. Imagine being 16 and playing Wasim and Waqar at the top of their game bowling lightning fast. I think Sachin's become a better player because he started playing so young against outstanding bowling attacks like Pakistan and West Indies. Later in his career apart from very few bowlers like Wasim, Shoaib, and McGraw, I didn't see many bowlers giving him a hard time at all. He just eased it out.

Sachin is an inspiration for budding sportsmen. I think no other cricketer can be compared with him. His response to the fiercesome howling at the age of 16 shows his focus on the game. He never degraded his behavior ever however the situation. Respect to the God of cricket. A lot to learn from the tremendous cricketer. Rising above all discrimination. Always love and respect ❤
