Look at some of the names on display, Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib, Afridi, Inzamam, Saeed Anwar, Mohd Yousuf, Younis Khan, Ponting, Bevan, Gillespie... Truly the golden era of cricket 👏👏
This Pakistani team looks way more fit, enthusiast and passionate then current team. That pace from Shoaib akther is like storm running towards the wicket. Such a treat to watch. Respect from India
@@asfandali9164 kholi main kaya special hai even Sachin is far batter than kholi ...Sachin era had legendary fast bowler all around the globe even we can't count the names. Love from Pakistan
@@stylishboutique8322 brother his chasing ability his record in all three formats look at his average and strike rate and look at the hundreds he made against which teams and everywhere he make runs
An attack of wasim n waqar with shoaib as first change supported by razaq , afridi , and batting of inzi , yusuf , anwar ,, this pak team was unreal, Somehow they still underachieved
usman khan Agreed. This had one of the bowling attacks of all time. Its a surprise that this Pak team never won any major event. They could have been world champs if there fielding was great too.
Actually at that time all the teams had legends in them, & home series was like night mare to the visitors, they had to play the conditions & the umpires.
@@mrbme he told in interview , when he goes to india he need security as everywhere he is so famous, in pakistan no body give fk..about him , India is biggest best market for shoaib
There will be trouble but in 2003 WC Sachin and Sehwag trashed them completely. But still i accept that its a treat to watch waqar, wasim and akther in action.
This was a super challenge bilateral series between Pakistan and Australia and Pakistan beating Australia by 111 runs and won the 3 match series by 2-1 margin and also became the first Asian team to win an odi series in Australia
He earned stardom with his love and passion for cricket, struggled and strived hard to become superstar. Despite knee problems always gave his 100% for Pak with being honest, never involved in match fixing. ICC should include him in Legends of Cricket, like who agrees.
The most exciting fast bowler ever. I remember in 1999, Eden Gardens test, we were comfortably placed around lunch time (my lunch time). I sat down in front of the telly with my plate and saw Dravid and Sachin blasted off in two consecutive deliveries. Spoilt my lunch for sure.
They failed bcoz of fielding and politics if these things not there so they won most mega events with these players wasim waqar shoaib shahid afridi and rest
0:05 Wasim, Waqar and Akhtar ‼️‼️‼️ Great three destructive fast bowlers. With Wasim's seam and Akhtar's pace there's nothing they couldn't do. Love from Sri Lanka🇱🇰
When I was a kid I literally gets goosebumps by seeing Lee n akhtar just loading up for their bowling man...those were the times when 150kph was the benchmark of fast bowling with stumps cartwheeling
Absolutely 💯💯. Michael Bevan arguably the best middle order batsman in history. There were other left handed greats like Martin Crowe, Brian Lara, jaysuriya but they were mostly openers.
Unmatchable Michael Bevan, single handlely won many games for Australia when Australia were to lose after their top order collapsed. 1996 world cup semi final is a brilliant example. Curtly Ambrose destroyed Australian batting line until Bevan came to rescue.
@@sreddi83 i agree but in late years brett lee speed was 120-135 avg u can also go and search. Shoaib still used to bowl between 135-150 at the age of 36
@@arslaanpasha3334 Akhtar bowled well over 150 all the way till his retirement. He was 34 when he was bowling between 150-155 in england in 2010. The next year during the 2011 world cup he was recorded over 155. He retired at the end of that tournament.
Think if these 3 fast bowlers playing together in their 20's.. How much destruction they cause to the opposition.. It is quite a challenge to score a 100 run for a team against them..
@@Starlet.barnstormer that is end of wasim and waqar they waqar average pace is 155+ at his peak from 1992 to 1994 his pace decreases after frecuture he has highest 5 fefer for a bowler in his peak years
Shoaib Akhtar is the romance of cricket, the pace the aggression, the intensity. The feelings it gave are unparalleled, like a fiery love affair at its peak
whenever i watch any video of akhter then my eye goes direct to check his speed bcoz such speed which used to be his average can be seen very rare now a days.players of today have much healthier food and good facilities now a days but no one does bowl with 145+ as an average.it was something god gifted which had been kept with LEE and Akhter only
It was not gifted bro..in the interview shoib told that he used to practice with a heavy bowl on longer than normal pitch .. his hardwork was there that made him bowl this fast❤️
@@ajitsingh-yi8nq i do agree with u that he did struggle but if u wanna know him through his interviews then let me tell u that he is the biggest "phainku"of cricket world.he was the champion bowler without any doubt but many stories of him keep v less truth.he was the fastest for sure but plz don't believe in his stories 😆
Just look at his run-up, it seems that a storm is heading towards the wickets. The fear had a name in cricket grounds ::::::::::::::::: Akhtar ! SHOAIB AKHTAR !!!
Sometimes i feel the present batting greats like Virat , Rohit , David Warner , etc were lucky. They never had to face Wasim, Shoaib , Brett Lee or Zaheer Khan !
Incredible piece of bowling by Shoaib Akhtar! Due to his marvellous bowling performances in this series, he was declared Man of The Series along with the Man of The Match in the final match of the series.
They had so many matchwinners... This Pakistan team should have achieved more no doubt about it... They should have been the one giving trouble to ausies
Kisi ki bhi taange kaap jaae ..he was beast ..no one can be like him..now or never. The only bowler i ever admired along side brett lee.. Even i made my action similar to his action ..wanting to bowl as fast as i can just like my idol❤️
Pakistan team in that ERA was Pure Destructive Team. Solid Batting Line up and Crazy Talented Fast and Spinners. It was Unreal to see Shoaib, Waqar Younis and Akram in the same team and picking up wickets like we pick up veggies in the market 😁😍. Lots of Love and Respect for them, from India.💗
I feel so bad for the batsmen those days. Imagine when you have to face 10 overs of fast bowling from wasim and waqar then you have to face Akhtar for another 5 who is the fastest. God damn as a Sri Lankan I have to say that was the best bowling attack ever. No one will ever match that trio.
What a time that was!!! Saeed Anwar, Inzamam, Yousuf, Rashid latif, wasim, waqar, shoaib akhtar,Afridi, Imran Nazir, Azhar mehmood...........what a combination of greatz. missing those golden days of cricket.
Wow! Just wow! 😍😮 As a cricket lover this is just an incredible sight especially that Ponting wicket. Shoaib you beauty. 😍😈 Fast bowler have become extinct! Today we get excited at a mere 145 kmph delivery and in this video Shoaib bowled a 140 kmph slower yorker..
As a kid, watching Sachin/Lara bat, Shoaib/ Wasim Akram bowl, Jhonty Rhodes field and Steve Waugh/Ranatunga captain their sides. Those were the best days of cricket era ever.
Once upon a time Pakistan Team Full of Legends- Saeed Anwar,Afridi,Younis Khan,Inzamam,Mohammad Yusuf,Razzaq,Moin Khan(wk),Wasim Akram(C),Waqar Younis,Shoaib Akhtar,Saqlain Musthaq
Shoaib used to bowl 150 clicks conssitantly where as modern day quicks like starc and dale styne hardly bowl 145 kph. Loki furguson and adam milne can bowl 150 kph and that too very rarely. Those were the real cricket days. These days its all about batsme .
Wow! Wasim and Waqar, then Shoaib to follow... I remember this game being played as a winter series in Australia, Including one of the first games played under a roof at Melbourne's Docklands stadium, and Shoaib made a mess of us. As I recall, there was a replay of Ricky Ponting playing a shot with his eyes closed, and of Shane Warne with eyes as wide as dinner plates when Shoaib was bowling. I am Australian, but I am a member of the fast bowling cartel, played many years of grade cricket as a fast bowler, so I enjoy watching all of the fast bowlers in action regardless of where they are from or what shirt they wear.
My favourite jersey for pakistan when iwatch first time Pakistan match yahi jersey thi us time pay trump cards pe dekhtay the hum uspay yahi jersey thi Pakistan ki i love very very much this jersey bringing me old days feeling💖💖 Love it
Ian chappel, Tony creig, Bill Lawry, Richie Benud. Matches starting 4 AM here in Pakistan. Waqar, Wasim, Shoaib Vs Gilchrist, pointing, Bevan. What memories. Miss those times
