I have extra fabric to play on! It's fun to just not stress and let the creative juices flow! Make sure you are allowing yourself time to play!! Bernina Q24, Glide thread, manual mode speed 1350. Poly batting.
Hey Ms. Adria, I think I know what the answer to my question will be, but Imma gonna ask it anyway: how do you know when to stop at a certain point in the quilting (as in the flower echos or petals) and run another line under the leaf and then start a new swirl?? How do you know when enough is enough at one point and move on other than having done it a bazillion times? I'm a newbie to LAQ and don't have the memory chops yet for a picture in my mind of what I want the finished product to look like. As a beginner, I feel I need a template to follow. Is that cutting off my creative juices at the risk of 'ruining' a finished product when I can run to my tried and true designs that I know will work but doesn't expand my horizons?? Do you sell creativity online??? ha ha... Oh, and how on this green earth do you get your circles all so perfect??? There isn't enough practice fabric in the world for me to have my circles end up looking that round...sigh...
Yes, a lot of that just comes with practice and trial and error. Practice on charity quilts! The more you quilt the more comfortable you will be with making all those decisions about the designs❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719 I also use the same JOANN, but my quilts are so stiff when I get to them on the long line just wondering what is that fabric with cotton any suggestions?
