Your chanel truely is a blessing, Jason. Not only for your skill and patience but also for the lack of attention-seeking. No blasting music, no fancy intro, no begging for subscription. I have been watching this guys videos for a few years. Everytime I am just blown away by the craftsmanship and details, he adds to all his projects. It's not new wood from a big box store or exotic woods, it's stuff he is recycling into a piece of artwork. The end results are astonishing.

Broken old drawers, cereal box card and plastic tubing turned into the highest quality jewellery box. It's like your own brand of magic. I love that this is for your wife! You had me wondering for a bit why you'd cut out the ends of the dovetails, but then I realised of course you're going to make it extra special. It's beautiful and I hope she loves it.

There is something really special about watching a master craftsman at work but to watch you is an absolute privilege. Mrs Epic is one lucky lady to have such a beautiful box to hold her treasures. Rosewood is a gorgeous timber and pairing it with the rich blue velvet is perfect, even if it does wrap around cereal packets 🤣. The added detail of the brass is also just lovely. Absolutely pristine, and the perfect balance of gleam, glisten and glow. The warm glow of the wood, the gleam of the brass, and a glistening mirror, all in a beautifully thought out arrangement softened by ... what could be more perfect? ... This is absolutely gorgeous! I bet your wife was well pleased. I make keepsake boxes out of fallen tree limbs myself. I gave a few away as Christmas gifts to family. They were quite shocked that I made them myself. My sister used hers for her dog's ashes. That was an honor to me.
