I have a Samsung A52 - not the best or most expensive smartphone in the world but it has a blue light filter built in. It does not turn the screen orange or any other colour. Don't believe the hype!!!

I’m kinda glad. Considering the revenue they were on target for, their valuations with their offers were insulting in my opinion. Especially when you consider what they can bring to the business to get the income and profit way higher anyway.

Blur light reduction is already available on most devices.

Apple has had blue light control for several years. The software has been around for at least a decade.

Butt, at wich % we dont know that.

Night light does this on android and Chromebook too. This pitch is the most useless piece of tech to get a deal in the den.

How? Have we stopped using phones, computers, TVs, etc... Do we all have optical implants to block blue light? Or did we evolve without me noticing?

The amount of blue that filtered out by products like this, and layers on prescription glasses, is minuscule. All operating systems, desktop and mobile, have night modes where they indeed lower the intensity of the blue pixels.

Blue light still is present. It doesn't make blue light magically go away. 🤦🤦🤦

@@Moon_Presence What are you talking about? If you have RGB based color, and reduce the Blue part of RGB by software, the screen emits less blue light. That's how screens work. if the LCD screen is set to not display blue by software, it blocks the blue part of the light emitted by the backlight. That's just how color on screens work. Maybe in cheaper screens there's still some bleed through of some blue light, but most of the blue light is still blocked. And on OLED displays, if the Blue value of RGB is set to zero, there is zero blue light emitted at all. It's all only red or green. It's not magic, it's just how screens work

This was filmed early part of 2021 so covid was still around. You can see the acrylic plexiglass dividers between them, one just before the lift, and then one inside the lift. I didn't mind the restrictions for the most part, I could take them or leave them, but I have to admit this was a daft idea just to make it look good or something idk. They've probably had contact with eachother all morning, probably took the same car to the recording location, even shared the same greenroom, etc. But standing next to these dividers for 10 seconds is gonna do/prevent something??? 😂

No! Its snakeoil! Even when this was aired many devices already had a blue light Filter in the Software AND more important is the fact that there is no evidence that blue light is harmful at all.

I didnt realise, but yes now that you mention it. Indeed with money you can look much better, if he had none he would be almost bald. The rest of us would just wear a hat
