Let's be honest, none of this is rocket science but the truth is none of us is familiar with this kind of thought process (or else we wouldn't be here), so seeing a pro going through this stuff while explaining every single detail is really appreciated. A godsent help

For my 1370 paladin I did Blessed Aura / Expert / Awakening and Heavy Armor lv3. I may make it take over my main now. I see heavy armor may not be the best, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. :)

Have a bard main but been dabbling with a Paladin alt and really liking the playstyle. Not sure if I should switch main or not, but as a single player with only PUG's as an option I'm not sure that even matters ^_^

This seems like a legits guide and yet i still favor heavy armor in my build. It's such a comfortable skill to have for a supportm you literally outlive everyone pretty much every fail attempt to kill anything.

i know this is an old vid so who knows if this will be seen but why full swiftness over full spec? ive been using full spec and it makes my blessed aura buff really strong and i use spirit absoption to make up for the lack of ms/as. is this wrong? is it just preference or is full swift just that much better?

Just a question, wouldn't it be better to max the Awakening engraving instead of expert? Just because other alt classes can use the awakening too, while they can't use expert except bard. Just wondering, i just hit 1345

I did this the other day on my gunlancer and my guild mates were wondering how I managed to get good engravings and tbh it was combination of this and the fact that since people are impatient and don’t bother bidding I got to buy some accessories for like 1% of the price lol

great video! I always see people complaining that support accessories are too expensive, but they only look for bis itens and keep complaining. Surprise every class bis is going for about 15k ~ 25k right now and you dont need them :)

I have a question about move speed cap. On my soulfist (swiftness build), I've noticed that my move speed can go up to 144% when proccing the rage rune. Is this normal, such that it can display slightly higher move speed but the bonus will still only be 140, or is it a text bug? I haven't run tests on if there is an actual increase in move speed at 144% over 140%, but help is appreciated!

Ppl keep laughing at me for going 4 3 engravings of rem energy, CD, SC and Increased Mass. They dont know that 3 rem energy 3 increased mass specs accessories used to cost 50-100g each for 90+ quality and i still have 2% atk speed when i get the buff :D

What about getting spirit Absorption to lvl 3 and then stack specialization instead of swiftness ?

I did some calculations and it seems like pally is a lot weaker than bard? Aura lasts around 15 seconds and give 10% damage, heals for about 25% total. Bard level 1 desperation salvation heals for 32% (not including final tick) Lvl 2= 72% Lvl 3= 132% Pally gets their aura every 1-2 Min while bard is slightly longer at 2-3 but if u do the maths on the damage buff from aura it's barely anything. For example say my group does 100 damage every Min, aura lasts 15 seconds (1/4 of a Min) and buffs for 10% during that 15 seconds. Every 15 seconds the group does 25 damage, and extra 10% is 2.5 So if my maths isn't wrong the pally group will do 100+2.5 damage compared to the bard group = 102.5 which is basically nothing. This is assuming the bard does no damage buff with her bubbles but if she did it seems pally is much weaker when compared. I think my maths is wrong but idk what's wrong if some could point it out that would be good cause atm it seems pally is much worse compared to bard haha Tldr: Pally: 25% heal every 1-2 min (maths includes expert, 1-2 Min cool down as awakening gives buff) 2.5% extra increased damage (when compared to bard, assuming she doesn't use attack buff) Bard: 32% heal every 2min (awakening only) 72% heal every 2-3min (1 bubble + awakening) 132% heal every 3-5 Min (3 bubbles) Damage buff = 15% every 3-5 Min or 10% every 2-3 Min. Around like 20-40% longer charge up but I believe 15% damage buff lasts longer than pally's buff

I don't really like getting awakening. I have ether predator instead. The bonus atk is good when I boost my team and the defense is good too let me survive better too
