We wrap up November potato bagging 2023. See how many 5 pound bags we packed for Thanksgiving orders.Follow me around the packing house to see what we are up to.
Your a hard working woman that knows her job! I just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I never realized how much hard work goes into potatoes! Thanks for giving us the knowledge of how our potatoes get to our table!
Before I found your channel I never would have guessed that watching a 12-minute video on potato packing would be so interesting and enjoyable. And my compliments on another irresistible thumbnail.
Those are some nice looking potatoes you’ve got and it looks quite nippely in the storage area Lots of work for you guys and great feeling when you can stand back and look at the work you’ve done Thank you for feeding the people
It’s so funny that you managed to mention what I was thinking as well. When I lived on the farm as a kid, all I had to spend time with was a bunch of old guys. This environment would’ve been much better.
You’re simply an amazing woman, you work your butt off on that farm and really seem to enjoy it, you do a great job of filming everything and explaining what is going on. I grew up on a farm and now that I’m retired I farm for a hobby and love every single minute of it. I was bragging to my wife about how hard you work, they are lucky to have you around. Keep making videos and I’ll keep watching and liking them.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I do work my butt off, but I love every second of it! I’m so glad I found my place at the farm. Thank you for watching and subscribing! 💚
Nothing like watching a video and all you see is a decent plump rack with hard nipples and every once in a while you realize this video is about potatoes
You’re one busy lady! Thanks for showing us your operation, it’s always interesting to see the different areas of agriculture. We only have beef cattle and a few donkeys on our farm.
Like many channels, viewers stop to look with interest but they stay for the host and family. Your content is good cinematography with interesting narration. Identity for Bells Farm is great so we can buy your products. It sure helps that you are so well-spoken about all you do. Keep producing your videos, you are a wonderful ambassador for agriculture, Molly.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I really do have a passion for agriculture and this family farm! I am new to farming and I am loving all of it! Thank you for the support! 💚
I'm sorry but I never gave farming potatoes a second thought but, this woman flat out makes me wanna become a potato farmer. I would watch her watching potatoes grow. Wow!
I never realized how many potatoes that Maine grows. We always think of Idaho, but I’m far more fond of yellow and whites, and I am russet potatoes. Great job Molly, what an operation!
Your videos are the best, any other videos when you are processing bagging potatoes are unbelievably interesting and I love how you are willing to explain every process and I think it’s nice that the guys at the bagging Post didn’t wanna watch to see if you could Hoist that 70lb bag Up on the top like you did, out of respect they weren’t looking away but they couldn’t help but turn just enough to look, impressed by your strength, farm girls don’t need gyms Thank you for making these videos
That is a lot of potatoes! It was pretty awesome that you donated a thousand bags to food pantries too! That will definetly help out the community with your quality and wholesome staple. Potatoes are my favorite base food, so many things you can make with them and ways to prepare from mashed, to baked, to cubed with a stew, or scallop, to fried. Always a great dependable source of low cost calories too that are filling. With the cost of grain exploding, and not that bread has been too terribly impacted but one can make potato bread too and its actually really good.
My parents and grandparents are from Fort Kent and always told me the stories as they were kids how they would shut school dow for 2 weeks to pick the potatoes. I remember seeing all the old barns in town or even on route 1 going up north for so many years. Just stumbled across your videos today because let's be honest there was a pretty girl with a nice body busting her stones and I loved it. Makes me miss Maine so much....
Love learning about new things. You do an excellent job at explaining your processes while getting quality footage from all angles and perspectives. I’ve worked in a plant doing quality control of the production, so seeing your packaging production has been a real treat! You have a very hard working and dedicated family, that is pretty rare to find nowadays. You should be proud. And you have awesome dogs! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a nice comment! We all love what we do! Bessy is wonderful! Merry Christmas to you and to your family also! Thank you for watching :)
Wow…been following you for a couple months now…..didn’t realize what went into growing potatoes….amazing getting them ready for shipping out to customers! Happy Holidays to the Bells Farming crew! Thanks Molly!
I always look forward to your videos. You remind me of “Laura Farms” she started her RU-vid channel about four years ago and she just hit 500,000 subs. But it’s because of folks like her and you that I’ve come to know so much more about farming and how important it is to our country/economy. Merry Christmas to you Molly and your family.
It's really great to see the inside of an operation. I worked for Fruto Lay for 25 years in sales but never visited our growers. Just toured several plants. Love your videos, nice job on them.
Great video! There's a phrase... " from farm to table." Your family farm is an awesome operation. You take this phrase to a whole new level. I've never seen a product go from where it was produced directly to the market place quite like you do it. I've been watching your videos for a while and thoroughly enjoy them. They are very informative and fascinating to watch it all come together. Thank you for sharing and have a great day. 😊
Love your content. My wife had family that potato farmed way up in the county when she was growing up. Her and her sister would go up and help with harvest on the weekends
I also just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and and have been amazed with all the processes that are employed in getting potatoes from planting to packaging. I am more knowledgeable with corn and soy bean farming, but have really become a fan of your channel and how you explain what is happening at each stage of your farming experience. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Always nice to see people working so diligently to keep the rest of us alive. My country went through a famine in WW2. Thank you and all your colleagues.
Just found your channel. So nice to see a wife so involved in the daily operation of the family farm. I’m learning a lot. We farm grain corn, mostly sold for poultry feed, cotton, and soybeans in Mississippi. Keep up the hard work.
Yes, it did look chilly in there. I grew up on a small farm where we raised most of our food, including potatoes. My favorite. Enjoyed the video and seeing the packing process. Ours were hand sorted and stored in baskets in Grandpa's root cellar.
Each time I find a new channel, with a different crop, I am amazed at how ignorant I am of how my food is produced. Thanks for in lighting me about potato farming.👏👏👏
Another outstanding video. I am still in awe at your whole operation. You all at Bell make this world great. Have a great holiday from my family to yours.
You are one tough cookie, slinging those heavy bags around! Every manufacturer needs a go get person! I like when they say go get that thing you no that thing a migiting ! Ask your husband to go get a sky hook! Love you posts!
Nice job Molly ,your video's are interesting . I now have a new appreciation of the work involved in getting fresh delicious potatoes. Keep up the good work your doing because I love potatoes.
