Front Bumper Cover Removal and Replacement on FIAT 500 2008 - 2016

We took this video to show you how to remove and replace the front bumper cover on a Fiat 500. We demonstrated on a 2013 Fiat 500 pop with Sport upgrade Bumper. In the USA Fiat started importing Fiat 500 in 2012 however in Europe sales started in 2008.
It will either the same or very close procedure for all models 500 2 door all the way from 2008 to 2016.
It is very simple procedure and it should not take you more than 30 minutes to do it yourself for first time. You will need T30 tool and screwdriver. You will not even need to remove the tires.
This procedure should work on:

Great video, I found it helpful. I was uncomfortable with how hard the clips were on the fenders and didn't want to brake them off. So I sprayed silicone spray on to the clips and they came off with much less force.

THANK YOU for posting this video! I needed to replace my daytime running lights but the little circular lid wouldn't come off the light housing - I tried to take it off by feel but couldn't see what I was doing. By pausing this video I was able to see the running light/turn signal housing inside the bumper and get it off. So helpful!

Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo. J'avais une ampoule W21/5W tombée dans l'optique du feu diurne. Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait un système de clips entre l'aile et le pare choc. Votre film le montre et permet de comprendre comment faire pour ne rien casser. Grace à vous, j'ai réussi à déposer le parechoc de ma Fiat 500 essence 2014. Puis démonter l'optique et récupérer cette maudite ampoule. Félicitations pour tout ce que vous faites. ;-)

Thanks for the instructions!! That last clip, the tricky one, was a tough cookie, one side broke but never mind, the others are fine. Reason I took the bumper off was because one the light in it had dropped out. They are glued to the bumper with hot glue! I washed both parts clean and stuck it back on with bathroom silicon sealer, it won't come off again!! Also spent half an hour cleaning up the screws and greasing them ready to go back in. Thanks again!

Thanks chaps my nehpews girlfriend has 1 of these cars and i have to remove the bumber, so i can do a repair and i wasnt to sure were everything was on this perticular car and now i do thanks for tje easy to follow instructions, now i can go ahead and remove the bumper, many thanks, i appriciate u making this easy to follow video.

Great how to video thanks. I would not recommend to pull like shown at 2:48 (you can see a clip flying and that can break the clip's housing... but I'd definitely go gently and being more careful, like it was done on the passenger side :)

I was changing the daytime running light bulb on the drivers side and as i pushed the bulb holder in to the slot the bulb dropped inside the light housing.By removing the front bumper it should make it easyer to remove the bulb.

Im going to do this. had a little fender bender and found the whole front bumper assembly online from FIAT for 375.00 looks easy enough to me. Just curious now about the right drivers side headlight , I had that as well/thanks so much

Changing the coolant on a Fiat would be great! Finding the drain plug on the driver side bottom of the radiator, took me about 2 hrs. I turned counter clockwise and started draining the coolant. Closed back up and added new coolant. Now I have a drip at the drain plug, gaaaaaacckk!

Very clear Video thanks. I need to replace the emblem on my car that is located on the front bumper. Is it possible to do this without removing the bumper??? I know there is a nut behind it keeping it in place...

You only need to remove the top 4 screws and your hand will fit/reach to the emblem nut, in my case with an 8 key, no need to remove the entire bumper.

Does anyone know if you can remove the front bumper of a 2010 fiat 500 and replace it with a 2017 front bumper? Will it fit easily (obviously going to get the headlights to fit also) but just wondering if it's doable are they the same size or not? Thanks
