A bad drain pump or clogged filter can also cause the drum not to spin .. and it's a very common issues as well .. should've been added to the 5 top ... the controller would be the last point to check .

The machine did the wash but did not finish last cycle. There was an obstruction and the pump is spinning but the motor is doing nothing,

Mine was as simple as cleaning out the small trap at the bottom. It had a coin and other debris.

If the belt is just off the pulley, check the bolt holding on the pulley. They are well known to work loose and cause the belt to slip off.

I should start making repair videos. As a technician the main cause I see on stator motor style, is Bad SPEED SENSOR. Which is attached to the stator. It’s a 10-15$ part.

I just moved my front loader to a new home … it’s spinning but goes on forever .. as if it’s unbalanced .. I’ve taken almost entire load out .. doing the same .. It went from 7 mins left back up to 15 … any thoughts? 🤙🏼

@@calidazeable check ur drain catch for blockage.. make sure ur drain hose isn’t goin to far down the drain pipe. Make sure the holes in the rubber gasket aren’t clogged.. those are thing u check before we deem it a bad control board

So nothing on RU-vid worked, so I did my own analysis. Looking at the board there were some dirty parts on the components traces. After cleaning it with robbing alcohol. It looked like one of the traces leads were rotten off maybe because of moisture or dust. I used my phone camera to zoom in 10x times it's a realme xt phone. I saw that it's indeed disconnected so I took a small flexible wire. Used fine sand paper on it so the solder would stick to it easily. I also used the sand paper to expose the leads on the circuit board. After cleaning it with alcohol I soldered the wire to the board to make the jumper. I also noticed some of the components in the same area looked worn. So I took the heat gun put some soldering paste on the components. And covered any vulnerable plastic components with aluminium foil to help it not get burnt. After I use the heat gun to heat up the components, reflowing them it looked brand new. Plugged it in after and works perfectly.

I actually clean the filter drain the water below before I saw this video I was proud of myself I thought maybe I fix the problem but the code keeps coming up early I keep draining the water out the bottom door it just won't finish the cycle of spinning and draining and now there is a loud noise in that door area

Yesterday, my washing machine wasn't spinning to rinse. After going through all the checks, realissed knob was accidentally set to zero. May be when cleaning it. So sometimes start with settings checks. 😊

Ge smart front load . It spins fast when it's empty . But I washed 1 Towel , and it will spin that 1 Towel but not fast . When it's " done" the towel is soaked dripping still . So it's not spinning the heavy out of it. Any thoughts?

I have a samsung crysral washing machine serial no: 06SU53AG900047F. I replaced the inverter checked the belt filter is clean the drum turns left and right but it will not spin it stops at 9. Is there something else to check? Will appreciate if you can help

I have a Maytag front loader washer and dryer. If I put it on the fresh rinse and spin cycle it will spin, but on all of the upper cycles on the knob it won’t spin so I don’t think it’s the belt or the motor. It must be some kind of switch?

I have a Samsung front load washer giving code 4E(water supply) I have tried a new water pressure sensor, my husband put in a new MCB. The water supply inlets have been changed. Samsung is the worst for repairs abd too many hoops to jump thru. Sears repair guy changed time twice in the same day, didn't come. It fills with water, then drains flashes code 4E but don't trigger to spin. My filter is clean.

my kenmore front load washer gets to the 6th minute then wont finish washing it will will stay on 6 minutes for like 5-10 minutes then finish but will not go into its final stage where it washes rapidly?

Did you figure it out? Was it the control board? Mine does the same thing. Motor is good, drains good just sits there on 6min and doesn't go into high speed spin.

I give you more interesting puzzle: In wash mode device rounds the drum. After 1 min drum stop rounding and just shakes by motor. Load of machine is low. What it can be? BTW in "rinse and spin" mode drum again works as it should!

Same for me with my sumsang digital converter. It just drones while draining continues like that and don’t spin. Did you work out what was wrong with yours. With all that’s going on at mo, I can’t get anyone to come fix it All this hand washing over the bath is doing my back in😱

Mine will drain, but *usually* not spin. Rarely, it does, and it seems to do so reliably if it is empty. It is a direct drive model. I have replaced the drain pump and the door lock assembly. I have made sure the drain line is free. I'm honestly out of ideas. :-(

On my LG washer it was the rotor hub. The splines are plastic so they were shredded. It was a quick 30 dollar fix.

My front load washer isn't spinning correctly. It will spin just never spins fast. It will spin slowly or even stop. It will stop and change directions, but never spins fast enough to pull water off close.

Lawrence Monlezun The problem depends on your model. Could be a few things such as a bad Clutch or timer/control board. If you have a direct drive motor with a rotor or stator then could be an issue with them or the sensors that may be attached. Could even be a motor control board too as it monitors speed of motor, but depends upon your model. If you are unsure of what features your model has then try entering your model # on their site & should bring up info related to your unit so you can see what kind of motor etc you have to check.

Not impressed. His first solution is the belt. But if the machine has been washing rotating the machine back and forth, then the belt isn't broken! Unless it happened to break at some point in the wash cycle. I'd prefer a more step-by-step approach, and start with the most common reason, working on from there. Diagnose, don't just chuck out random answers.
